One of the best coffees in Carlow. Pastries, Bread and Lunch menu are absolutely brilliant and the staff are always so friendly and welcoming makes it feel more like a community space than a normal cafe although it can get a little cramped the service is usually quick and there's space outdoors and a hatch for collecting orders too

Lovely place in Carlow , only suggestion would be to make a little child friendly too for parents

Whether in for a little treat on my own with a good book, something delicious to take away to share with family and friends, or enjoying a catch up with someone special over something tasty for lunch, Waterlilies and their staff never disappoint. One of the rare finds where, despite the buzzing atmosphere, it’s never too loud or too much. Always a friendly smile and a kind word from behind the counter or setting down at the table. They have cultivated a lovely community feel when, even as a stranger, it’s like a warm welcome home and reminder to relax and enjoy yourself if even for just that part of your day. Looking forward to trying their Wine and Vinyl Fridays, but trust me, don’t leave without tasting (or bagging for later) one of their cruffins. You can thank me later 😉

Best spot in Carlow town for fantastic coffee and food. Most amazing vibes, sense of openness, inclusiveness and be who you are without judgement. Would live here if I could. The wine also is a 5star from me.

Nicest hot chocolate in town and great food. Love the eggs con tomato 🍅 healthy and delicious.

Waterlillies is my favourite café in town. I go to waterlillies nearly everyday when I’m walking with my dog, it’s great to have a dog friendly café that is so comfortable, friendly and has amazing baked goods and drinks. The roasted pepper and mozzarella sandwich is delicious, really fresh and full of flavour.

Absolutely love the atmosphere in this place, great customer service and delicious treats. The staff are always super friendly!
