Waterside Guesthouse in Graiguenamanagh-tinnahinch

A lovely cafe on the banks of the Barrow. We sat out and had coffee and scones, watching the world go by on the river. Nicest scones we’ve had for a long time. Friendly staff too.

August 2025. We had dinner there today. The food was delicious, the staff very friendly. Highly recommended.

Fab breakfast at Waterside this morning! Staff excellent and “Maitre D” was chatty and friendly. We sat outside and it was so lovely sitting by the river! Cake was delicious as was the coffee!! We will be back!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Group of 41 people for 2 nights. Brian, the owner of the Waterside, arranged for additional B&B accommodation (right next door) to accommodate the entire group. Located along the River Barrow, the setting is magnificent. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The Irish breakfast was fabulous. Both dinners were generous and excellent. The Waterside comes highly recommended for its hospitality, with a big thank you to Brian for his kindness, professionalism, and his very friendly and helpful staff.

We had a wonderful stay here last week. The setting is very beautiful, idyllic in fact, with the quay and the river directly in front of the property. It's peaceful. Our room was quaint with furniture in keeping with the house. Not modern but perfectly adequate. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our meals there - dinner and breakfast - were very good.

Sat in here for lunch and it was lovely. Great, warm service.

Incredible staff. Rooms are comfortable and clean and modern enough. Great food and the town is beautiful... right on a river. The proprietor was very friendly and a great help. He helped establish the local rowing club. I got to take a look and it was great to see a proper rowing boat house.

Set in a beautiful location beside the river Barrow. We were meeting up with friends, so we booked a table. The staff were so friendly and happy. The service was quick, the food was beautifully presented, and it was absolutely delicious. Had a wonderful time. Will definitely be back.
