Weavers Loft Restaurant in Donegal

We happened to be in town and fancied breakfast so here seemed a good bet. I had the avocado +poached eggs and decided to add bacon, whilst my companion had the large fry The bread, avocado and poached egg were nice, in fact the basil oil around the plate added an extra zing...I do wish I hadn't added the bacon as it appeared either deep fried or re cooked in some way as it was brittle and lacked flavour The fry was below par. Plenty of it but over cooked and perhaps not drained as the over whelming flavour was oil. I swapped one of my poached for my partner's fried egg and wished I hadn't as it was very far from runny and oily tasting. The staff are attentive and friendly and run the front of house efficiently but I do think the meals are a little on the pricy side

Food was delicious, there were freshly baked scones. I really liked the vibe of the place. Cafe is on the first floor of Magee store.

Excelente comida, precios, servicio. Vino a almorzar tarde. Volveré mañana. Mucho mejor que donde comimos ayer, cerca.

I’ve visited this cafe twice in 2024. They have excellent vegetarian omelets made by Chef John. It was, without a doubt, the best omelet I’ve ever had in my life!

Burger was great food was just. Server smiled the whole time. Highly recommend. Might be hard to fund but worth exploring.

Possibly one of the nicest breakfasts I've ever had, packed with flavour and quality ingredients. The service was amazing too, very friendly and helpful staff
