Weavers Rest in Loughrea legal town

It is probably one of the busiest places in the town of Loughrea - but a for a good reason, the food is excellent. I just had sandwich. a risky combination but hell it works. 😊😊

Mrs. Moore and I visited today. She had the chicken curry and I had the steak sandwich. I can only say that we left 2 very empty plates (we were tempted to lick them but there were too many people around!). I've been to a lot of restaurants around Ireland and the UK but I don't believe that the Weavers Rest steak sandwich can be beaten. It was simply superb! On top of that, staff are wonderfully pleasant, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Excellent food coupled with really good service makes this place a hidden gem in Loughrea. Whether you’re after light bites, dinner or fantastic vegetarian food it’s a delight. Try the goats cheese salad and you will see what I mean! Went with family and service was friendly, efficient and available if needed. It’s the little things that make a restaurant and this is why this place is good, proper delicious brown bread with soup and even the sandwich we got was beautifully prepared with care and attention. Anyway 5 out of 5 and we defo go back.

I just had a superfood salad, with added chicken for that extra protein and what a salad it was. Truly healthy, fresh, balanced and incredibly tasty. A very interesting dressing made out of yoghurt, horseradish and blueberries... a risky combination but hell it works. I highly recommend the salad and confident that all the other food is at least as good as the salad was.

En route to our holiday destination we took a welcome break at this fabulous little eatery. Tasty soup and brown bread went down a treat. My daughter ordered a chicken wrap, chips salad, the sauce and dressing were top notch and she said it was the best wrap that she ever eaten. I had a taste too, yummy. Reasonably priced, seemed to be a local favourite too. Staff friendly and greeted customers by name. A
