Nice old bar in good spot to watch world go by.

At one end of William Plunkett St in Cork city you'll find The Welcome Inn. It's about the size of standard living room but outsized as a pub. It was full of men and women, busily chatting with background music trying to butt in. There were hugs and kisses whenever someone came in, or left, and the very pleasant and efficient barman was working his socks off to serve his customers. We were offered a seat for the 4 of us almost immediately but, instead of leaving, the lady moved to another table to continue her chatting and drinking. The 8 pints of Beamish we drank over the next hour or so were also splendid. If you are ever in the area you must check it out. You'll be made most Welcome.

No food on site, but what a vibe

The only thing wrong with this lovely pub is the toilets. They need serious upgrading. Come on guys. It's a great pub in a great location but the toilets??

A very compact city centre pub with great old school charm. One of the best pints of Beamish around.

Love this pub. Came Cork on my stag do. The welcome inn opens at 7am, so straight off the plane, on the bus and straight to the welcome inn for creamy pints and warm smiles. One of the highlights of the weekend.

Top 5 favorites! Great live music, the man's voice was great. Wish I had gotten the name of the musician. Oh and Beamish!! Just down the street from the Clayton hotel and open early as well. Bartender was nice

Always a great place.fantastic pint

Stopped in for a couple of morning pints, very welcoming atmosphere and the the Guinness is perfect. Owners and bar tenders very friendly and efficient which our experience even better. Great chat with the local and the aesthetic of the pub is all over a true Irish pub.
