Great atmosphere always, a good pint and a fair selection of whiskey . A traditional early house with a 7am opening time . Definitely worth a visit.

The Welcome Inn is an absolute gem if you’re coming off a night shift and want a proper morning pint. It opens early (around 7 AM most days), so you don’t have to wait until regular pub hours to grab a drink — a rarity in Cork. It’s warm, welcoming, and has that classic Irish pub feel, perfect for winding down or catching up with friends after work. I’ve been here a few times after late shifts and it’s always a solid start to the day
