Very detailed account of The Famine, so pretty harrowing in places. Also contains information on the nature reserve, as well as a decent gift shop.

24/02/2026: Great little place excellent quality homemade food Great staff landlord very friendly

18/12/2025: Came in late after a long day of travelling and arrived in near closing time. They were very accommodating to me and my partner, we had accommodation already sorted elsewhere but we had some food here and it was deadly. Owners very friendly and recommend us sights to see. Will be back when we visit skibbereen again.
