13/03/2024: Excellent beautiful place we went for mothers day. Very busy but the staff were excellent we were waiting all of 3 minutes to be seated. The food was scrumptious served piping hot and it was 5🌟. Excellent service between courses we were finished and ready for home after 1.5 hours. Very reasonable priced and again staff kept checking if we were OK for everything. We will be back.

02/04/2024: We absolutely loved our stay at Liss Ard at Easter. We took our dog with us and were in a dog friendly room in the lake house. The room was very nice and it had a fabulous bathroom. The gardens around the Lakehouse were lovely and the views amazing. There are loads of walks to do within the grounds and the location means there’s plenty to do when you leave the estate too. The staff are so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. A couple of small issues we found: The walkways to and from the lakehouse and the Manor House are not lit the whole way which is disappointing. But The staff offer to drive you in the buggy if you need it. There should be a bin outside around the dog friendly rooms in the lake house. There is one in the garden rooms of the Manor House. The restaurant is expensive for what you get and the menu limited! The drinks are also not cheap with the cheapest bottle of red wine being €45! We would definitely return and I wish there were more dog friendly places like this in Ireland!

17/03/2024: Very wide selection from local to international produce. Great cheese area. New newsagent space as well. Lots of renovation recently. Helpful staff. Busy on Saturdays.

09/03/2024: This was our favorite shop in our entire Ireland adventure. Lovely employees and just a darling collection of book to venture through. Our VEGAN lunch was fantastic, truly prepared with love. Highly recommend a visit.

18/02/2024: We had a delicious lunch. A place with great vibes as well, chatting with friends surrounded by books and plants.

28/03/2024: We had such fun painting our pottery, thanks to the lovely staff who were helpful and attentive. The coffee was excellent too!

12/12/2023: This is a family run Cafe and Takeaway Restaurant, in a small provincial town. Simply decorated and furnished it has a friendly atmosphere and is well presented. The menu is simple and sensible. Meals are served on the premises or for takeaway. The food served is of the highest standard and consistently good. It is very reasonably priced. I intend to revisit Leslie's Crossroad Diner again and again.

12/09/2023: Good hearty fare and plenty of it. Lovely lunch and won't need anything more until lunch tomorrow (and I didn't finish it all).

30/07/2023: Enjoyed our meal immensely. The cakes are amazing. Lovely staff and owner. Next visit to Skib and we'll be back.

04/01/2024: Food was of great quality, great atmosphere. Friendly ,engaging staff. Portion size of tuna melt was a bit disappointing. Overall a very pleasurable dining experience.

08/02/2024: I was shopping at SuperValu and was looking for a nice fish and chip shop. I turned my van around and there in front of me saw this take away. Got to say I was greeted by a nice kind young lady who took my order. I had the quarter pounder burger and bacon cheese chips.. don't worry they have a fantastic range of traditional chipper foods. The burgers and fish are fresh and local. The chips are chipped potato not frozen fries. I might just say that the burger was fantastic possibly the best I have had in a long time for sure. I will definitely be visiting again if I get the chance... You should too. Tell them Alan sent you...
