05/02/2024: Wonderful taste and courtesy. Ordered Dal tarkha and requested for a customised one with extra garlic which they fully did justice too. Great to find something like this in the area.

25/03/2024: Shredded chicken tastes like fish, Thai noodles was so plain we had to put soy sauce on it still didn’t make a diffrence, dumplings are absoulty horrible omg and we ordered 4 cokes and they didn’t bring it out till after we finished eating.
Wasn’t a good experience altogether
27/11/2023: Staff was super friendly and put tofu into our spice bags for us which was going out of their way :)
Portions could have been bigger and a bit more veg in the spice bag but the taste was lovely !

20/09/2023: Found this to be one of the worst Chinese I have been to. The service was brutal. I ordered simple things like a spice bag n rice etc. After ordering it I went back out to my car. I sat there for a about 15 min and I went back in. The food wasn't ready so u went back out. Waited about another 15 min and went back in still wasn't ready. I questioned it and they didn't seem bothered. So I sat there and after another 15 minutes the food came out. It felt like if u didn't sit there they were not making the food for you. Other people that ordered after me got there food becus they waited inside. So weird. The food was OK to wait 45 min for some rice and spice bag I mean come on they need to get there service together.

West Cork Arts Centre

28/03/2024: Went to a very good exhibition by Belgian sculptor Els Dietvorst. First time in the building and I thought the layout was good and I like the striking exterior.
28/03/2024: I remember when i first set eyes on this Monstrosity of a building. I was walking on a high ground overlooking the town when i noticed what looked like this rusty container sticking out above the roof tops. I actually thought the Council were doing some kind of sewage works, I Subsequently found out it was the Arts centre( ironic or what) . I visited the centre and found it to be several stories high of corridors and toilets.no lifts, with cold white walls -completely uninviting. Whoever gave planning permission for this eyesore should have has their white stick and guide dog taken away. Truly awful.Shame on the inept Skibbereen Council planning dept.
