The Time Travellers Bookshop is a wonderful little café. Nicki is excellent at the helm, providing great service & tasty vegan food. I really enjoy going to this café, I can sip delicious coffee, relax and browse wonderful books in a charming atmosphere - what’s not to love!

The stew, the stew….OMG. It’s a bowl of medicine and happiness for your tastebuds and gut. Nicky and her son Juna are amazing hosts. And the books speak (I’m gong to say it) volumes. The music is soothing offering a gentle backdrop for the ears. Antiquity is unique and the perfect place for us to send our vegan guests.

A shining gem of Skibbereen ! If you are looking for a relaxing coffee surrounded by inspiration this is your destination. With wonderfully presented displays of every variety of rarities and curiosities this bookstore has something for everyone. The staff are wonderfully hospitable and strive to always help make sure every visit is memorable 🙏

04/08/2026: Excellent restaurant in a beautiful building. The chicken supreme was the most delicious I’ve had in a long time, and the dessert was excellent as well. Despite the place being fully packed, the food arrived very quickly. Everything was tasty and beautifully presented. The waiter deserves special praise — very polite and gave great food recommendations. Highly recommend.
02/08/2026: Gorgeous conversion of an old church. The food and service are quality and it shows by always being busy. Highly recommend this place if you're in Skibb.
