Honestly best fish & chips Iā€™ve ever had and incredibly nice workers that recommended a beautiful spot to eat the food in (the pier across the road). Would definitely recommend to try the fresh and delicious fish!

Without doubt, these were the best fish and chips we have ever had!!! So fresh, and fried perfectly so they were neither greasy nor heavy. Perfect portion size and it was just wonderful to be able to take them and eat them at the pier. A very special treat. Very clean and high quality. Excellent value for money.

A pleasant discovery just steps from the rental cottage. Very generous portions. They were patient with our broken English when ordering. But you have to pay in cash or by credit card.

17/06/2025: Super experience at this B&B. Lovely bright room, huge breakfast with lots of variety, and wonderful hospitality from the hosts. The location is easy walking distance to town and it's set back from the road so we didn't get any traffic noise. I appreciated the communal sitting rooms and the lovely views. Would definitely stay again.

O'Donnabhain's Kenmare

25/11/2025: Another nice find this time in Kenmare. Booked in for 2 nights B&B. Lovely reception by very cheery staff. Great room nice spacious clean and tidy. Shower over bath was a bonus as was ready for a good soak. The pub itself is full of the history warm and welcoming. Lots on offer beer wine and the spirits. Plenty on the menu and the food was well presented and plentiful. The staff as I said were very chatty and nothing was too much. Breakfast sets you up for the day a good hearty meal. All in all good value for money and a great base for exploring.
15/11/2025: A lovely place for dinner. Cozy atmosphere and delicious food.
