Whitford House Hotel in Wexford

We have stayed in quite a few hotels in Wexford throughout the years, but this one has become my favourite. The staff are the friendliest, the amenities are the best, the price is great, the rooms are lovely, the position is great (quick journey or long walk into town, also perfectly positioned for sightseeing around Wexford) My family home is here so I've been coming to Wexford for the past 37 years, and have loved to see Whitford grow and develop into what it is today. I loved the decor and the heritage within, with pictures of the original owners. The staff are the best thing about this place. They did something really special for our anniversary and made our stay really memorable. We will definitely be back, and looking forward to when we do! Thank you to all the team at Whitford!

Had a great experience at this hotel. Fine large room with patio, very good meal. You could not find more efficient, good-humoured and helpful staff. Terrific.

Fab breakfast with lovely super fresh croissants. Worth visiting for the reception area alone. Staff are so nice.

Spent a few days here recently. This place has all the facilities & generally does its job well.

My nanny and grandad, Robert and Maureen Richardson stayed at the Whitford Hotel in Wexford on Tuesday and Wednesday in Room 133, and once again they had a fantastic experience. They’ve been coming here for the past 20 years, which really says it all about the place. The food is always 10/10 and never lets you down — every visit they’re impressed by the quality and consistency. The service is amazing too. The staff are always welcoming, and really good at what they do. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable, which makes their stay even more enjoyable. The location is great as well, especially being so close to Rosslare Harbour, making it very convenient. This visit was particularly special as they are celebrating their 60th anniversary, and the Whitford continues to be a place they love coming back to. They’ll definitely be returning again soon!
