Fantastic food and Fantastic service

Rooms were very large and beds were extremely comfortable, if I were to change anything I’d take out the bath and put in a walk in shower. Food was good and plenty on the menu to choose from, I had wings and Steak. Service was very friendly and had welcoming homely vibe. Happy to return!

Clean, friendly hotel. Staff pleasant and helpful. Room was very clean and roomy. Parking free. 3 miles from town centre. Swimming pool for guests. If you want to use spa, book in advance.

I've stayed here on many occasions over the years and I will continue to do so. The Whitford House Hotel is a very warm and inviting place to stay. Val is a terrific host. The management and staff are amazing. Always so good humoured and helpful. Rooms are spotlessly clean and well maintained. Wonderful atmosphere in the bar and restaurant. The food is delicious. Beautifully cooked to order using local produce. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for an overnight or longer sojourn.

Lovely family run hotel. Delicious food. Very popular. Nice swimming pool. Music in the bar at weekends. Fantastic service. Very clean. Groupon vouchers are a great buy in the off-peak season, with significant discounts. Three kms from town centre so car or taxi required. Recommended.
