We walked in the Wild with no reservation on a January Saturday night. Thankfully, they could seat us and we had a fabulous meal! The atmosphere was amazing, lots of people in for dinner and a lovely buzz around. The decor is so cosy. The goats cheese bonbons were so flavourful and the chicken wings, while spicy, went down a treat. For mains, the creamy hazelnut papardelle and Asian flavours beef cheek were incredible. The staff were so attentive and friendly.

We booked on New Year's Day based on the menu advertised at the door that day. When we went that evening the 2 dishes, muscles and steak, that we had travelled for were not available. It was so disappointing 😞 I ordered the fish which was to have a herb gnocchi with it but instead I got a type of potato cake thing. So all in all it was so disappointing. On the flip side tho, the staff were polite and attentive.

This is a gem worth travelling to. Excellent food. We had perfectly done chicken wings in the mouth watering house hot sauce, crispy pork belly in asian slaw, and breaded cauliflower florets with garlic and truffle mayo to start, then spectacular beef cheecks, mash, broccoli with wild mushroom sauce, and pappardelle squash basil sauce with parmesan. For desert a 'Wild' mess with a "unicorn tears" berry compote with fresh strawberries, and a decadent belgian chocolate hot sweet treat served with vanilla ice cream. We left more than satisfied. Well done and keep it up! Thank you.

Twice in two days!! I was so tired from traveling I got take away the first day. The mussels were THE BEST I’ve had in Ireland and I’ve had mussels several times. I also had homemade Pappardelle with butternut squash. AMAZING!!
But what I REALLY wanted was the Hake. My second meal I would eat at the restaurant ….it said the hake was served with gnocchi so I shied from it bc I’m used to what I call bellybombs (gnocchi). The lovely co-owner explained it was not gnocchi as I knew it. She was not lying! The Hake with gnocchi was prepared BEAUTIFULLY….i can’t get over the AMOUNT of individual flavors that this chef combines to create MASTERPIECES! I also had the Poached pear salad that was well proportioned for a starter and tasty…mint dressing that was light, not overpowering …. Just DELICIOUS!! Then, the dessert, profiterole that was nothing like I’ve ever had and I’ve eaten plenty of it in my life. The cream inside was like nothing I ever tasted. Welp, guess I have to move to Ireland bc OH MY GOODNESS!!! BEST FOOD EVER!!! The restaurant is inviting and different. This is a mega A PLUS!!! Sorry I dug into the dessert before I took the picture but but…. 💕🙏🧘🏻♀️
