I eat here regularly. The food is good and staff are friendly.
The floor area is small, with a staircase running down the middle. In the afternoon diners are all directed to the same side of the restaurant. Consequently the available seating area feels unnecessarily cramped. Giving customers the option of occupying tables that are a little further apart would make for a more relaxing experience.
Honeycomb hot chocolate is superb, food was fantastic, upstairs a little warm though with no air coming through when people were seated next to the open windows. Unfortunately our waitress was extremely incompetent so I won’t be in a rush back.
Great place for coffee and breakfast although space indoors is limited. Friendly and helpful staff, excellent coffee. Poached eggs with thick toast is very good.
