Wok Star in Arklow

My new favourite, super fresh and tasty. Love that you can pick spice level for many dishes - ordered medium and they nailed it. Tried several veggie dishes and will be back for more. Bravo! Definetely want more.

Honestly, best restaurant takeaway you can get in Arklow. Food is insanely good. One of the best Indian meals I’ve ever had. Will be back again and again

We had great fun, enjoyed drink at the place and reached the place 20 minutes before closing however they took our order for takeaway and lastly I came to know they didnt charge for the drinks. The owner was so polite and kind. Place had lovely vibe. Food was delicious. Highly recommend!

Ordered the mixed grill and keema naan as a take away. Lovely meal, well worth the money. Food prepared on time and the staff were polite and welcoming. Nice atmosphere inside with beer on tap . Definitely come back, well recommend.

We returned a second time because we loved the food when we tried the first time. We ordered butter chicken and vindaloo with 2 portions of rice and “upgrade” one of the portions to fried rice for €1.99 stated on the menu. The food came out nice in the small pots. But to be honest, for over €20-€22 and the amount of meat in it, it’s a rip off. Tiny portions. At the end the waitress tried to charge us the full price of the fried rice. I tried to explain to her but she seemed offended, not even taking a look back at the menu and showed the price on the menu to prove me wrong. I was going to leave it as I didn’t want to make a scene. Then the manager came and fix it. It wasn’t much but the fact that the portion wasn’t a presentation for the price we were paying and the fact that the waitress had a bit of “attitude” I decided to leave a review and hope the owner will reconsider my feedback. Unfortunately This would be he last time we will come.

This is our Go-to for family special occasion. Food is amazing and the staff too! Arklow is lucky to have this restaurant as it's no other like them.

Look I love the food from here ,but this is the second time happening now ,got a delivery tonight order a butter chicken main and a mixed grill main ,gets the delivery and the sauce for the mixed grill isn't there this is the second time happening 🥲rang them oh kitchen is closed 😭so it's valentine's were after spending money on a nice meal and I've to share my sauce out of the butter chicken so now we both have meat with just rice basically a miniscule amount of sauce between us ,and they will take money off next order mind you the hole meal is ruined now devastated,,second time 😅😅😅 happy valentine's day

Food is 100% Tables/Seats could do with an upgrade ,food all squeased together with little room for a fork and knife Glass of flat coke from a Can 4€ now this is a rip off ,other than that i would return for the cooking
