We had our wedding in the Woodford Dolmen last weekend, and I am forever grateful!! From the reception staff to the housekeepers, everyone was so friendly. A special mention to the manager, Will, who was on duty the day of our wedding. The food and drinks were of a high standard through our entire stay. All of our guests have been raving about their experiences! Thank you ever so much for helping to make our day so special. We will certainly be back.

Lee Valley Golf and Country Club

26/08/2025: Beautiful location and wonderful service. The duck was cooked perfectly and the vegetables were great. It's a bit off the beaten path, and we only found after our host gave us directions, but it was worth the trip.

Holy Cross Pub

04/07/2025: Excellent food very well presented.Ted&Marie Hartley
29/06/2025: The Holy Cross Bar & Restaurant Waterford Located on the N25 Just outside Waterford City on the Way to Cork. Large ample car park, ald although the car park is loose stone, which may cause a problem for some wheelchairs, or buggies etc, in general, accessibility here is good. The decor here is very traditional. Quite clearly once a thriving pub, the food offering here has taken primary purpose of the building now, but that traditional pub feel is retained with a wood burning stove, high ceilings with open rafters, lots of traditional pub decorations such as a vintage pushbike mounted in the rafters as well as pictures from around the locality, and pub based curios on display. The Holy cross has a great atmosphere whenever you call. At peak times, it can be very busy, but a large spacious inside area ensures plenty of people can get seated, yet it doesn't feel too large or cavernous. There are a few nice separate areas to sit. Despite its capacity for large crowds, on busy days, queues do form, which in itself is a good sign. My advice if you are thinking of visiting at what you may consider to be a popular time, try to beat the crowd. Get in ahead of 10am for breakfast or before 1 for dinner.
