Woozza Wood Fired Pizza in Galway

The most amazing pizza I have ever had! Down only for a day. The service was extremely welcoming and professional. Would recommend to anyone of any age to try out! Can’t find any better around!

Our family of five was rejected by the neighboring Pizzeria Milano despite there being free tables, apart from a few reserved ones. We then went to Wooza, which was also a full restaurant. The manager there did everything to accommodate us and not let us leave, and we ended up having a fantastic dinner! The manager at Milano's needs to learn from the Wooza manager how to maximize revenue on busy evenings, rather than rejecting local Galway people.

I wasn’t planning on coming here. I was walking through Galway looking for a new place to try and Woozza caught my attention. Before I even entered the establishment I was welcomed. I had tried to communicate via sign language to one of the waiting staff inside, asking if they were open. She responded with a big smile and two thumbs up. They say not to judge a book by its cover, but this was already looking like a good read. The setting was unperturbed and the energy contagious. It’s December so the room was well decorated, but not so that it suffocated the room. It retained its natural characteristic and charm while finding a nice balance between Christmas and the authentic wood fried experience. The service was impeccable, almost as if I was doing them a favour by being there. The pizza was delightful. The perfect combination of cheese and sauce, not smothering the pizza with superfluous ingredients, and finding the perfect dichotomy of mozzarella and tomato. That thin based crust and the excellent service is sure to leave an indelible mark in your mind. Next time your sitting at home and thinking of ordering a cheap meal or passing by a overpriced fast food chain, think to yourself…. Why not Woozza?
