yum yum asian street food in Westport

Within about a 30 km radius, this is hands down my favourite and honestly the tastiest South Asian-style restaurant. A few dishes I keep coming back for: prawns in sweet chili sauce is my absolute favourite. The Tom Kha and Tom Yum soups are incredible — rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. And the crispy duck is just amazing, one of the best I’ve ever had. Honestly, these dishes are prepared here in a way that I haven’t found anywhere else — at least not to my taste — which is why I keep coming back. What really surprises me is that the place is almost always quite empty. It’s still a bit of a mystery to me because the food is consistently delicious. The service is good: staff come over, check if everything is okay, ask if you like the food — attentive but not intrusive. The only downside is that the toilets are on the third floor, which is a bit inconvenient, but that’s more of a building issue. Overall, the place is cosy, spacious, and very nice to be in. And to be honest, I’m even a bit surprised and sad to see some negative reviews, because I’ve been coming here for about a year — travelling from Castlebar — and I’ve always been more than satisfied.

My friends and I had Chicken Thai Green Curry, Prawn Chili Lime, Pad Thai, and Chicken & Prawn Tum Yum. Well, as fellow Asian, I can assure you that this restaurant served one of the best Asian food!! It tasted almost the same as Black Canyon back home! I’m touched 🥹. Thank you for serving good Asian food; I’m not that homesick now lol. Btw, chicken are Halal and the ambient is nice too (oh, how I wish there is a franchise in my city).

This visit left a very positive impression.

The food was very tasty, the spicy was really spicy and tasty. The staff also professionally handled a drunk, who, by her own admission, was the daughter of a local clothing store owner, who was behaving in an unclassifiable manner. (Money can't buy manners and etiquette) But the restaurant is a great place, worth trying. :)

Had the chicken dry hot and spicy and it was delicious
