From the perfectly crispy duck in the boa bun to the bite of the black pepper steak noodles, my two personal favorites, every dish was delicious! 8 different people, 8 different choices and 8 happy people.

10/10. Couldn't fault it. Fried potatoes were delicious. Cheese toastie one of the nicest ever. Even though it wasnt on the menu they made it up no problem. Food out so fast and fresh. They do take away until 8. Smiling friendly service. 100% go here. Great prices for Killarney too

The staff was friendly and our food was served very quickly. We tried the Kimchi Rice and noodles : they were very tasty and healthy. A nice break from the landscape of fried food. Also, the cappucino was really good. - C

We ordered the Waffles with chicken, avocado toast and the asian fried rice. All of it was delicious and it is a perfect location if you want to eat different things, due to the big variety of foods.

02/06/2025: We stayed in Killarney for a week and visited many cafes. We thought Lir Cafe was the best. Great food and coffee, lovely welcoming and efficient staff ... and great to sit out the front and watch the world go by.

19/06/2025: A welcoming place. Friendly staff, ready to meet the needs of customers. We went there on June 16, it was the anniversary of their opening (70 years) without booking and they immediately found a table for us. Excellent dishes especially the Atlantic fish soup, but also the hamburgers and salads. I recommend it
05/06/2025: Good, hearty food, with great service and good atmosphere (if a touch dark inside). We had the spring rolls to start, followed by a burger and the lamb shank - the lamb is their signature meal, and was excellent (probably the best lamb my partner has ever had). Recommend
