Callans Bar and Restaurant
24/11/2024: Went for my son’s 30th birthday meal and the food was delicious everyone enjoyed both their starters and mains. The staff were very friendly and polite nothing was a bother.
24/11/2024: I rang at 4pm and booked a table for 8pm. The service is very good and the menu is reasonably priced. We had chicken wings to start and mains were salmon and chicken kiev.
Callans is probably competing with Fitzpatricks/The Brake/Donnegans, as they offer a similar menu.
For me, Fitzpatricks and Donnegans are in the top two, while The Brake and Callans in the bottom half of the four restaurants.

23/11/2024: im back this time on the marshes kfc i have to say much nicer than kfc in muirhevnamor and staff was great too i purchased a 4 in 1 from new greatwall at this kfc.. it was scrumptious. All though its not even their own companys food it was delightful the man who served me was. a tall black gentleman and he had very gentle hands:)he works for both kfc and new greatwall if u ask for a 4 in 1 at this establishment they have them under the counter and they will serve u they only take nigerian currency though.
28/10/2024: Amazing service from Erin and Sara, very quick and food was given fast. Would definitely recommend this place!

08/12/2024: The order from JustEat was 2 hours late. The food was good but cold, so kind of avarage. So for avarage lunch that took place in the afternoon, I won't be ordering again. Also the system showed the food as deliver over 1h 30min before it was, presume is so some sort of threshold is met at the restaurant or application level, still an appalling experience.
04/12/2024: Nice Spot and burger meal deal is great value for money, place could do with a bit of a spruce up but it ticked the boxes In terms of quality and value.

21/12/2024: Some of the servers are clueless about there job.
I booked a table for 5 people when we wanted drinks we were told there is no table service for drinks,
Same server then served another table and brought them drinks 😂
Food was okeyish burgers were as dry as they come.
First time I see a place that refuses to sell a bottle of spirit for a table 🤡🤡🤡
16/11/2024: Used to be a great venue gone way down after the last renovations were done. Not as nice a crowd drinking in there now and the pool tables are a pain in a busy bar. Foods not too bad but that's about all it has going for it

07/12/2024: One of the worst subways in Ireland. Only ever one person working making subs, even during busy periods. Every single time I go in it’s the same. Had the poor girl making subs for customers and Just eat orders. She was under serious pressure. Management should be looked at in this badly run place
