29/12/2024: For a Birthday Sunday lunch. Ambiance was excellent with a view of the lake. Service was second to none from the greeting to the smiles. The food was fantastic. An extra touch was made by the staff to celebrate the birthday, from balloons to the roman candle on a brownie. A return is a definite.

03/11/2024: My daughter booked us a weekend package to this hotel - the room was fabulous however the restaurant left a lot to be desired- on arrival we decided to have some lunch - I ordered soup and a toastie - the toastie was made with sourdough bread and you could squeeze out the oil it was fried in - dinner that evening was was fine though nothing to rate it blue book worthy - breakfast next morning was ok a minimal fry and a mini croissant which which tasted like it was made with dripping rather than butter and a very dry blueberry muffin to share - dinner on the second night was awful - my daughter while still eating her main was being given a dessert menu and asked what she wanted! Managers were taking orders while multiple staff were standing around - table cloths were being ironed (should have been done before opening) staff using foul language in conversation within earshot of diners at breakfast -would not recommend the experience at all -
