10/03/2024: I got a special offer from Uber eats so decoded to try Narra delivery. Unfortunately I wouldn't order from here again. It took an hour and 20 minutes to arrive and the food was cold.
Maybe the food might have been nice when it was hot or if you ate in the restaurant but it didn't travel or eat well. Some of it was quite oily and bland. The nicest thing I got was a side sauce of satay which is saying a lot considering we got duck, noodles and Bangkok fried chicken.
I would say they need to reduce the catchment area of their deliveries because I think I live too far away for the food to stay fresh or warm. It's a 20 minute drive but thats longer when you consider other deliveries are being made on the way.
06/03/2024: Authentic flavors that took us on a journey right back to Asia. š Prices were great, and the portions generous - we couldnāt resist ordering more than we could eat!

26/02/2024: The place is expensive for what it is. Of course you get a lot of rice, but I don't think it's worth the 15.5 euros I paid...
What's more, I asked for a non-spicy dish, and in the end they gave me something very spicy for me, without warning me beforehand that they were only taking the fresh chillies out of the preparation, but not the spices in the sauce.
To pay this price and not even be listened to or advised is distressing... I came to warn that the dish was very spicy but they didn't offer me any solution...
I won't be coming back and if you don't like spicy food, don't go!

27/02/2024: I will start positively: the staff were nice. Outside of that this place is atrocious. I paid 17 euros for curry only to be told they donāt have metal utensils. If it were 10 or even 12 that would be understandable, but you can get a decent meal at a nice restaurant for 17. The curry itself was disgusting. The duck they gave me mostly consisted of fat and grissle and the curry was full of undercooked vegetables. This is easily the worst meal I have eaten out in 6 months of living here.

Second time, black bean sauce was packed in same plate with rice and delivered. It looked awful and nauseating as they were all mixed up when I got it. Ordered again and requested for it not to be put in same plate and still received same mixed packaging.
Never ordering again from here.

19/03/2024: Got the impression the ingredients were of high quality, but it was oversweet for our taste. There is no dine-in area, so atmosphere can't go above 4 but for a takeaway, it's pretty well decorated and the staff were friendly and pleasant. Would be tempted to try again and ask for the sweetness to be dialled down.
28/02/2024: The week that holes were punched in the spice box, and the chips were extra crunchy was the best, but 99% of the time it's excellent food.

Unfortunately I went here to eat today and ordered the vegetarian spring rolls, as I bit into the second one I realised it was a pork spring roll and not vegetarian. I have been vegetarian for years now so this was really upsetting and made me feel physically sick. Also the normal spring rolls are not labelled as being pork so this is NOT a halal safe option!!

The only thing that saves them from bankruptcy is the Cantonese Duck.

27/12/2023: Have been a loyal customer for many years, used to have the best spice bags in the area however theyāve fallen off in the past year or two with the spice bags getting very dry and flavourless. Iāve been ordering the 4 in 1 ever since which has been a lifesaver on many occasions after a night out. Still one of the best 4 in 1s in the county. The spice bag however is what put them on the map for me and itās not what it used to be. It must be said however that the staff are lovely and the menu is extensive.

Took my employee to Hong Hop for his birthday..the service is so unprofessional..the food is over cooked..waited over hour and twenty minutes for main course..didn't arrive..so called buffet portions are a joke..paid outta courtesy..the whole experience went from hunger to frustration..
When I complained..that I paid ā¬50 for 2 bite size starters and 3 drinks..their response was, they would give me 2 free drinks if I go back..
I would never step foot in the place..
The place smells,un hygienic and toilets are disgusting...people don't waist your money on a so called restaurant that cares more about ripping off customers.rather then making it a quality experience...
14/02/2024: Overall iām unhappy. I had a few family over from england and they wanted to go out for a nice dinner and they chose hong hop.
The Waitress was pleasant and kind. Not so much with the waiter. The atmosphere is nice and calm but the food left one family member in hospital and another in bed sick. nobody enjoyed it and it does hurt your stomach the next day. unhappy.

23/03/2024: Awesome Indian spicy chicken briyani in Dublin. Treat to find to find a good Indian food in Ireland. Will try more of their items in menu soon such as cauliflower chicken and tikka naan. Good news is they also have the Australian family owned āBundaberg Ginger Beerā
28/02/2024: I have ordered few times via Deliveroo. The food is okay, but have to note the quality seems to have detoriated in the last six months or so. Have tried Chicken Biriyani, Chicken Butter Masala, Chicken Bombay Curry and Masala Fries. The Chicken Biriyani I ordered today was a wee bit disappointing tbh. Overall, their Butter Masala is good amongst the ones I have tried.
