15/02/2026: As always the food is great but unfortunately the order was to come with a can of Coke but to my anger the driver handed me a Coke Zero 😤🤮 not a happy camper I had a nice chilled glass of water instead.

15/03/2026: Ordered this evening on line. €40 not cheap for 2 people. There was not just one thing wrong with order. 2 things missing and one incorrect. I rang and asked for the complete order to be replaced. It came about an hour later and we were asked to pay again. Driver said he had to check, went to car and then left. Shame food is always good.

11/03/2026: Real time review : Food is usually good but customer service definietly needs improvement. The staff was a polite nice lad but made no effort to check in our requests to the chef in spite of multiple reminders while ordering. Either he or the chef is new but neither of them checked the order sheet. I specifically asked for no onions in a dish and my partner did not want carrots. But both of us recieved the food with them in it as per standard. Since it was a takeaway , we couldnt let them know immediately. Hope they read this review and strive to do better next time.

18/03/2026: Sooooo delicious! Highly recommended! We arrived quite late but were served in a friendly manner. Had a really tasty meal!

06/03/2026: Pho was ok, not the best I have had, the sauce was quite mild. I had the prawn version, and I heard someone asking to do similar to chicken broth, perhaos that would have helped. In the end the price / quality ratio was good.

11/11/2025: This is a short, simple menu, but is a delicious food. We had the pork sandwich and the Chicken rice bowl. Very friendly service too. It helps that you can enjoy it in the relaxing confines of the The Glimmer Man.

31/01/2026: It's not authentic Korean food, but feels like a Chinese imitation with a similar visual. Perhaps it can't be helped because the owner is Chinese? The taste is okay.

22/02/2026: Consistently amazing food! I love their duck and appreciate the quality and serving size for the price. Easy spot for quick and delicious meals—whenever I’m tempted to get fast food, I remember that this costs pretty much the same as Burger King (completely different I know) for better value. Bonus for the heart shaped eggs!

15/03/2026: i called to book a table for iftar time and lady on the phone was unfriendly at all, she asked me to come half hour earlier and thats not guarante ill get table! And she end up telling me to go find another place if im not happy with her option!!

14/02/2026: This is my 2nd spice bag order in recent times and this order was even worse that the last one. Drumcondra outlet. FOOD CONTENT, in the bag, approx, 2 bags of soft chips, 1 piece of red pepper, approx. 10 pieces of onion, approx. 5 very, very small pieces of chicken, curry sauce was just yellow coloured water in consistancy. SERVICE, after 1:30 hr wait I phoned for an update. The person who took my call was pleasant and told me it that I should receive my order in another 10mins. approx. 2 other meals ordered + spice bag meal. Delivery arrived approx 1:45 hrs. after online order had been placed. All the food was cold on delivery and needed to be reheated. Order Euro 53.30 Very disappointed

03/02/2026: First time ordering and i have to say i was very disappointed, the curry sauce was like water, so liquidy wouldn’t even go on the chips. the spicebag is flavourless and the chicken and chips are so soggy it ruins ur appetite, wouldn’t order again but service and workers are very nice, if only the food would be the same:(

17/03/2026: Amazing food, even better service! ​Had a brilliant lunch at Mao recently. The ambiance is super cozy yet classy. We tucked into spring rolls, fries, Tofu Pad Thai, and a rich Thai Red Curry-all of which were 10/10. ​The real highlight, though, was the staff. They are so polite and truly make the experience special. Plus, parking is a breeze in Stillorgan Village. I’ll definitely be back!

17/03/2026: We have eaten in Mao twice in the last two weeks, and each visit has been a joy. We are used to going to Musashi and were hoping it would be on par as Mao is more convenient for us. It exceeded our expectations. The meat (duck, beef, prawn, and chicken) was so flavoursome and cooked to perfection; the vegetables were so fresh; and the portion sizes were great (almost too good, as we couldn't fit in a dessert). The atmosphere was relaxed (perfect for families), and there is a good distance between tables, so noise or overbearing conversations aren't an issue. The staff were also so nice and accommodating. We'll definitely be visiting more regularly. Well done to all staff.
