06/06/2026: delicious and you can bring the food back to the pub. when you walk in, you'll see some arcade machines, head to the right and there's an outdoor area where the kitchen is located. generous portion and reminds me of food back home, I'm from a city north of Vietnam and the flavours hit the spot. would recommend they put less salt on the seasoning and let people put in more salt if needed. the chicken is very well seasoned stewing in the sauce all day. thumbs up from my Irish scout guide

06/06/2026: Appreciate them keeping the price down on food, excellent deals and the starters are great, but the sauces for the curries are muck, I got the butter chicken and it tastes like a sweet cake recipe with chicken and I tried the madras which was just gloopy oil that didn’t come close to resembling a madras flavour, no spice or depth of flavour just thick paste-like oiliness. Stomach is bubbling like a nun meeting the pope

12/07/2026: Terrible food, ordered fride rice and came extremely spicy, even on the menue didnt said anything abut being spicy. When asked if this is how supossed to be, was said that is this what you ordered and turned around and didn't said anything. Avoid this place.

17/07/2026: Really enjoyed my visit. The food was very good, the staff were lovely and friendly, and the service was quick. They even gave us free tea, which was a lovely touch. I would definitely come back and recommend it to others.

16/06/2026: Booked a takeaway at 5.15pm yesterday 15th June but 7pm it hadn't arrived. Called Mao & spoke with the manager. He was so rude and continued to tell me to call deliverroo as it wasn't his problem ! Deliveroo customer services close at 6.30pm so no joy there. Called the manager back & asked for a refund. He said no refunds, he continued being rude and so unprofessional. I will never order from Mao again as I got no food, no refund & sent 3 hours of my evening trying to sort it out ! The food is definitely not worth the hassle! Will go to Camille in future !

14/02/2026: This is my 2nd spice bag order in recent times and this order was even worse that the last one. Drumcondra outlet. FOOD CONTENT, in the bag, approx, 2 bags of soft chips, 1 piece of red pepper, approx. 10 pieces of onion, approx. 5 very, very small pieces of chicken, curry sauce was just yellow coloured water in consistancy. SERVICE, after 1:30 hr wait I phoned for an update. The person who took my call was pleasant and told me it that I should receive my order in another 10mins. approx. 2 other meals ordered + spice bag meal. Delivery arrived approx 1:45 hrs. after online order had been placed. All the food was cold on delivery and needed to be reheated. Order Euro 53.30 Very disappointed

03/02/2026: First time ordering and i have to say i was very disappointed, the curry sauce was like water, so liquidy wouldn’t even go on the chips. the spicebag is flavourless and the chicken and chips are so soggy it ruins ur appetite, wouldn’t order again but service and workers are very nice, if only the food would be the same:(

Our bellies were so full we had to eat the rest the next day :D The restaurant is also connected to an asian convenience store where you can get some fun drinks or desserts
