15/04/2025: We ate here for first time just recently and was pleasantly surprised as Indian wouldnt be my first choice , food was very tasty and fresh , could not fault it , highly recommend
12/04/2025: Have ordered from here a few times, but the last couple were very subpar. Unseasoned pakora chicken, curry with a sizeable layer of oil over the top, and vinegary dipping sauces for poppadoms.
Far too expensive for this level of poor quality.

27/01/2025: Great little cafe, they do a great vanilla chai latte,the staff are pleasant. first time tasting the food. The sandwich was very tasty, it was stuffed with ingredients and went down a treat, even the dog was impressed with the offering by Barrow Blend. I will return again and again 🙏

07/05/2025: Myself and my Mum had lunch here today! It was fabulous as always 5*
14/04/2025: After a Barrow Walk we popped into the Railway House for lunch. We had lasagne and roast beef dinner. Couldn't fault the food. Roast beef was soft and buttery, served with a good portion of mixed veg and mash. Very generous portions in general and reasonably priced. Guinness was served in the 'old' style glass (yes, that matters!) and it was lovely and creamy... Although a tad too cold for my liking. The staff were attentive, the service was quick. All in all a great experience and we will be back!

01/09/2024: Manky place. Food is disgusting and you never get the full order and it's always wrong anyway. Ignorant staff, try to argue with you and when you prove them wrong they get all snotty. Avoid.

02/05/2025: Ordered a chunky fresh cod today with the batter crispy. I got lovely crispy batter but very little cod.I have noticed lately it's hit and miss with fresh fish not getting value for 8 euros.

12/04/2025: The food is nice , but they really need to take a look at the sauces , they are like goo and really bland there’s no taste , we tried several different types of sauces and they are all the same , for a Chinese you need to get the sauces right and unfortunately it’s letting this Chinese down big time ,
23/03/2025: Just spent 54 euro on food. Absolutely muck. It's always been average as a takeaway. Any Chinese that uses McDonnells curry sauce is no Chinese in my books but there is no alternative this far out. BBQ rips the sauce may aswell he like plain jelly with BBQ coloured food colouring 0 flavour. The black bean sauce must be made up of 80 percent salt I nearly swallowed myself with the first taste. Johnny fried rice the same 80 percent salt. Spice bag was average but atleast edible. Crispy dumplings were nice, but for 54 euro I feel sick it's an absolute robbery for the standard of food.
