29/06/2026: I had a wonderful meal last evening. The staff were excellent — friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and welcoming. The food was absolutely top‑class, full of flavour and great portions. Prices were very reasonable for the quality you get.

14/06/2026: Came back to this great eating pub after 6 years, really friendly welcome,had onion rings for starters and huge sirloin steaks cooked rare for main, the onion rings were really freshly cooked,hot and crispy and the steaks were cooked to perfection and tasted great,one of the best steaks I have had in a long time, all the staff are helpful and friendly and I can't recommend this place enough,it does get busy at peak evening times but they turn the tables round really quickly, not the cheapest meal but so worth it.

21/03/2026: Definitely one of the best pubs in Ireland (and I been to a lot😄) always a great atmosphere, with live music regularly. Lots of cosy corners as well as an outdoor courtyard with a stage for bands during the summer. Pool tables, jukebox, dartboard, Tv. Most importantly, great pints and friendly staff and clientele.

11/06/2026: Lovely food served in great big portions. You will never leave Aroma feeling hungry! It is affordable as well and all round a great spot to pop in for breakfast or lunch
28/04/2026: Ordered a coffee and scone, scone was toasted which I didn't ask for so I'm guessing it wasn't a fresh scone and didn't taste fresh.
Cost €8, Dublin prices in Ballyconnell.

09/02/2026: Beautiful restaurant serving 5 * food and 5 * service. We were made to feel so welcome and we're truly spoilt with the incredible service and attention to detail topped off with delicious food all whilst sitting by a cosy log burning stove. I can recommend the Tapas especially the scallops and prawns and not forgetting the fillet steak in mushroom and masala sauce cooked to perfection. Thank you for a lovely evening.

07/08/2026: The sweetest, most beautifully decorated (so many quirky bits to love!) cafe in Ballyconnell and surrounding areas.
Had Lorraine's breakfast boxty and you'd get up in the middle of the night for a plate, delicious. Brought home scones that went down an absolute treat.
Staff were so friendly, happy to be there and clearly knew their customers which is so lovely to see and hear the banter.
Only negative was that we couldn't stay longer but look forward to visiting again very soon.
Thanks so much to both Lorraine and her staff for creating such a beautiful environment to sit and take a bit of time for ourselves.
02/07/2026: Friendly service and a delicious rhubarb tart. The café is also completely step-free and even has a wheelchair-accessible - and very clean - toilet. A big thumbs-up for thinking about customers who need a little extra accessibility. It’s great to see inclusivity being taken seriously.

25/07/2026: The smell of old grease and the sausages smells horrible. The toast was put on the table about 5 minutes before breakfast came... I do not recommend this place
25/05/2026: Excellent cuisine! Friendly staff! Normal prices! The only remark is that the garden is not used, for which we are very sorry! We hope that next time this problem will be fixed! Visit the restaurant!

01/07/2026: Ordered cod and chips on just eat . Fish was very small compared to ordering in take away . It was mainly batter as fish was so small and not sure it was even cod . Very unstisfactory as i have got it out of the shop a few time . Dont think i would buy anything there again
