10/03/2026: We have eaten in and have had food delivered. We were really happy on all occasions.They couldn’t have been nicer and more professional. The delivery arrived extremely fast even though we live quite far away. I would highly recommend the Shannon Palace to anybody. There’s so much variety. the food is delicious and very well presented. Thank you so much for being so lovely!
16/01/2026: No word of a lie , ordered food at 30 minutes past 10 and it arrived at 38 minutes past . Mind blown , 5 stars all day , great service

15/12/2025: Probably my favourite restaurant in Ennis. I had the garlic naan and lucknawi gosht and we shared wine. All were delicious and the presentation was gorgeous.
Really nice lighting in the restaurant and the service was great without being overbearing.

18/10/2025: This place has some serious issues, first of all the i found the place not Hygienic i got a table next to a leaking wall and a bucket below it to collect the water. The service was poor, and disrespectful. I never asked for tap water but she provided with one and it literally had mud in it. I won't recommend this place unless you want to get sick eating from here.
05/08/2025: Excellent Chinese, full menu with lots of choices. Service was friendly and the food delicious. We ate in the dining room and enjoyed a pot of tea with our meal. They were very busy with take out, yet took great care of us too. Highly reccomend!

Came here 2 nights in a row during my stay in Lahinch bc it was just one of three options open in town (at my time of stay in March) and more dairy free friendly than the other two Irish restaurants.
Billy was so nice and friendly, even the hotel staff said "Billy is just great, we all love the guy" when telling me about dining options in town. He even gave me some fruits too, which was very much appreciated 🫶🏻
26/03/2026: We went there yesterday and honestly had a really good experience. The guy taking orders was super friendly and even suggested the chicken chow mein for me – so glad he did because it was lovely, really full of flavour and I actually enjoyed every bite.
We also got onion rings and a spice bag. The spice bag was massive and the curry sauce with it tasted amazing. Everything felt fresh and tasty.
Just a heads up – it’s cash only and takeaway only. In total we paid €31 for onion rings, spice bag and chicken chow mein, and it was definitely worth it. Would go back again!

Definitely catering for the 'irish chinese with chips' market so don't expect anything close to an authentic dish. There are much better asian food options in the area. Used to be good years ago but not anymore - as evidenced by the empty resturant when we were there.
17/01/2026: Worst dining experience in Ireland so far.
Completely fooled by online recommendations. Look at the state of the starter, an absolute joke for the price they charge. Noodles drenched in oil (we only managed one spoon) and the “Szechuan beef” was the worst I’ve ever had.

13/08/2025: We were going to place an order for delivery as we were staying in the owners air BNB attached to their house. He advertised his business in the bnb. Owners were unapologetic about the filthy conditions of the house and we had no choice but to leave early due to multiple health hazards in their property. I ordered from A1 instead and it was no exaggeration to say it was one of the best or the best satays I've ever had in Ireland. I wouldn't want to see what the state of their kitchen is in the restaurant they own considering their unit was a mess and even though it was paid for 8 months ago that place had dust everywhere that had been there for years, mold and grime everywhere. Their attitude with us showed their poor customer service as well. Why would you want to order from nasty people who aren't clean even in their own home when there are two other Chinese restaurants steps away with from the looks of the other reviews cheaper and better food. We are all sick and have rashes after staying in their bnb and I wouldn't chance eating anything they'd make.
