11/01/2026: Best Chinese in Cork in my experience

29/11/2025: Great atmosphere, if it’s not because of the fried rice I would give it a 5 star very easily. All the main dishes were well served and super tasteful. The only late that was very disappointing was the egg fried rice. It seems that they just added an omelette on top of the white rice… 😩

24/03/2026: The worst Chinese I’ve ever had in my life. Lack of flavour, chicken was rubbery, sauces tasted burned and almost like plastic, very oily. I felt terrible after, nothing was fresh. My whole family didn’t enjoy it.

22/09/2025: Waitress was very welcoming, service was prompt and the Cantonese style beef was lovely and soft

07/02/2026: Got a take away. First time using this place. They forgot a dish in our order,which is ok it happens so we told them at the desk. However pretty rude response. Just told we had to pay full price for the dish they forgot. No wait time given barely an apology or thank you. No offer or price reduction for their mistake. We drove 20 minutes in for it. Young girl on front of house crap attitude no smile, just rude surly. Won't be returning.

07/02/2026: Probably one of the worst experiences in a Chinese restaurant and any restaurant for that matter. Food was edible but that is about as good as it gets. Our experience consisted of unhygienic ethic and unmannerly service. Firstly one waitress was mopping and drying the floor with a towel as we arrived, then then served us our food without cleaning their hands and left the dirty towel that was dragged along the floor on another chair in the restaurant as we were eating. Then after that, as we were eating, we were sat next to a plug in Bluetooth speaker that was apparently setting the atmosphere but the only atmosphere it set was the smell of a cheap, broke owners who can't afford Spotify or YouTube premium because it kept playing adverts the whole time we were there. And they didn't even let a song finish, kept skipping songs halfway through. And to top it all off, 2 waitresses were having a conversation as we were eating that the whole street could hear, and swearing with foul language during the conversation, no manners, ethetic or awareness of what service should be at all. Most definitely will not be returning to this place.

03/04/2026: Great experience at Lily House Chinese Restaurant. The food was generous in portion and absolutely delicious. Everything came out surprisingly fast, hot, and full of flavor. The service was friendly and efficient, which made the whole experience even better. If you’re in the area and looking for a satisfying, good-quality meal at a reasonable price, this is definitely a great option. Would happily come back again!
