08/12/2024: Have eaten in and takeout. Both wonderful. Personally I'd say best Chinese in bray. If you sit in very friendly atmosphere with warm and quiet seating. Takeaway is quick and just as great standard as dining in. Can't fault it.

23/11/2024: I had a disappointing experience with Ashford Oriental Chinese Takeaway that I feel compelled to share. I ordered Chinese food through Just Eat, expecting a delivery time of 30- max 45 minutes. After waiting for over one hour, I called to check on my order, only to be met with a dismissive response from the staff member who answered the phone saying 'it'll be there when it's there kind of thing'. It felt like they didn't care about my situation, and I was left feeling frustrated and hungry. One of the main reasons i chose this place over others was due to the delivery time advertised. 15 more minutes go by, so at this point we're at 1 hour and 15 minutes... When the food finally arrived—over an hour and 15 minutes later—the delivery woman gave off a very rude and unpleasant demeanour. She was seemed visibly annoyed, unfriendly and kind of flung the delivery at me without saying a thing. There was no apology for the delay, which would have been a simple courtesy. Instead, glared at me in a very unfriendly and rude way, as if my inquiry (when i rang the restaurant checking on the order at the 1 hour mark) had upset her. This lack of basic customer service is unacceptable. I understand that things can get busy, but waiting this long for a takeaway is not justifiable, especially when the restaurant sets specific delivery expectations. Takeaways are not cheap, you get it as a treat for something quick and easy. Unless you're me and have to wait an hour and nearly 20 mins and get very rude treatment and no customer service along with a hefty bill. This was a horrible experience. I will not be ordering from here again and would advise others to consider their options carefully.

21/09/2024: I ordered spider roll. delivery was pretty quick, but the food was not good at all. it consisted of mostly rice with something dry and deepfried in the middle. nothing else and for €19.50?! Nothing like ive ever had before. very dissapointed. was my first time ordering from here and I will not do it again.

24/09/2024: Finally a Chinese open on a Tuesday! We usually order from another Chinese in the town but all closed on a Tuesday or don’t take cash payments. We ordered here tonight and it was here within 20 minutes. Food was piping hot and the spice bag is enough to feed 2 people. Absolutely delicious I cannot fault a thing. We will definitely be ordering from here again. So tasty. And also have to say some things are a good fraction cheaper than other restaurants around.

02/12/2024: While the food was lovely although a bit expensive, the lady who delivered the food was really nice, the Chinese man who took the order was VERY rude, I ordered a takeaway on Fri, I asked the guy how much it would be and how long it would be, so I could have the money ready, he told me 40 mins. When 15/20mins after that time I rang him back to ask how much longer, he rudely and nastly replied " it's on its way" and hung up on me, I spent almost €50 there, I won't spend another cent there to be spoken to and treated like that.

14/09/2024: Very poor spice bag. Reheated chips and no spice. Multi pack club orange is not a good look. Curry triangles had no curry.

21/11/2024: Ordered a spice bag and curry sauce over the phone. Got home and transferred the bag to a plate and there was 3 small pieces of chicken in a sea of chips, onions and red chilli. I called the desk to say there must be a mistake, there is no chicken in my spice bag. Person at desk said I had to order extra chicken for 2 euro. I said I wasn't given that option over the phone and they said all our regulars know to order extra chicken. The famous inn and tikka in the same town have sufficient amounts of chicken without getting scammed 2 euro. Order spice bags from them if you don't want to end up with curry chips. Gougers.

27/10/2024: The lady I was speaking to was very unhelpful and hung up on us. Very disrespectful and extremely unhelpful with regards to the menu.. this is to add to a number of times our order had had errors in our estate.
