The best restaurants in Ballyvaughan

31/03/2024: If you are looking for a fast snack to go, this is the wrong spot to eat. We were waiting 20min for a chicken wrap with 3 deepfried chicken pieces and a bit of salad.

01/04/2024: Great visit to an incredibly warm Irish welcome in a truly unique location. Visited with family for a weekend getaway. From the moment we checked in with Zoe at reception and throughout our stay the welcome was genuine and warm. Rooms are very comfortable, breakfast hearty and the evening trad sessions in the bar are not to be missed, but what makes Hylands unique is the location. The Burren can be seen from the front door of the hotel. The local harbour is a short stroll and we actually spotted dolphins a short distance out. Defo a huge summer location, but we found even out of season a great place to visit and we will be back.

02/01/2024: This three star Hotel was friendly, clean and comfortable 😄 Had a lovely breakfast. Late check out was a bonus. The location was ideal to travel the Burren and surrounding attractions. Ailwee cave and Bird of Prey centre well worth a visit.

29/10/2023: This restaurant is closed but the booking system still responds to bookings. This needs to be pointed out.

17/10/2023: Amazing food for an amazing price! Hand made pasta for €20?! Caprese salad was delicious, and mushroom risolto divine. Many vegetarian options.
