awesome food at this restaurant! service was quick and speedy, friendly staff and awesome food! we got the soup as a starter with an irish beef stew and fish and chips - delicious and portions were good too, will recommend to anyone on the wild atlantic way journey!

Had dinner here today, customer service was excellent, seated us quick even though extremely busy. Kids meals were fab, mussels for 7.50 and special was delicious, pan fried seabass with herb mashed potato that I'd love the recipe for! The fish and chips were best I've had too. Beautiful food with great service in an amazing setting

Lovely spot and a welcome rest after a day exploring the Burren. We had such a delicious meal and great service that we decided to spend the night to enjoy our time longer. Thanks to Susan and her team. We were treated to a charming harbour view in the morning and great breakfast. Look forward to returning again, and I hope the whisky bar down the road will be open 😊

We spent three nights there last week and cannot wait to go back. The service, location and accommodations were five star and the food was too! Missing it already, it's a must when in Clare, on the west coast! Special shout out to Caitlin, Ian and Shauna in the restaurant :)

Five of us had lunch and drinks. Poor choice of soup for one of our guests. Other than that everything was grand.

Went here for my sisters birthday dinner and it really did not disappoint! Food was amazing and service was just as good. There were 5 of us and every plate was cleared! Would recommend the prawn pil pil and fish pie in particular. Live music was a pleasant bonus.

Hylands Burren Hotel

01/04/2024: Great visit to an incredibly warm Irish welcome in a truly unique location. Visited with family for a weekend getaway. From the moment we checked in with Zoe at reception and throughout our stay the welcome was genuine and warm. Rooms are very comfortable, breakfast hearty and the evening trad sessions in the bar are not to be missed, but what makes Hylands unique is the location. The Burren can be seen from the front door of the hotel. The local harbour is a short stroll and we actually spotted dolphins a short distance out. Defo a huge summer location, but we found even out of season a great place to visit and we will be back.
02/01/2024: This three star Hotel was friendly, clean and comfortable 😄 Had a lovely breakfast. Late check out was a bonus. The location was ideal to travel the Burren and surrounding attractions. Ailwee cave and Bird of Prey centre well worth a visit.
