The food was fantastic. I ordered the garlic and chilli starter and it was genuinely divine and a good sized portion, too.

My family and I spent 10 days traveling around Ireland and we all agreed the highlight was our night at Monks in Ballyvaughan. The rooms, service, and especially the food both for dinner and breakfast was truly outstanding. The icing on the cake was when a staff member brought some champagne to our room after we mentioned my oldest son had just gotten engaged to his high school sweetheart that was also on the trip. We have already put Monks on our itinerary for our next trip to Ireland!

Wir hatten im Voraus schon reserviert, da dies uns empfohlen worden ist. Das Restaurant war gut besucht und wir wurden freundlich empfangen. Die Speisekarte ist gut übersichtlich und hatte auch regionale Speisen. Das Personal ist hilfreich und zuvorkommend.
