16/09/2025: We dined and stayed at Vaughans Anchor Inn. Five stars all round. Lovely room with good attention to detail. Loved the Taytos and cookies. Food faultless - lunch, dinner and breakfast. Excellent service - my husband forgot his phone charger and the young man behind the bar charged it for him.
Thank you for a happy experience.

08/09/2025: A genuine Irish pub that's very popular with locals, so it's not too touristy. We had a delicious meal (one curry, one bangers and mesh). The service was super friendly!

The food was delicious and truly exceeded expectations — fresh, hearty, and full of flavor. The atmosphere was everything you hope for in an Irish countryside pub: cozy, welcoming, and full of character. But what impressed us the most was the kindness and genuine warmth of the staff — the level of hospitality was simply outstanding.
Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area — a true gem!
