22/04/2025: First time here on a Easter Sunday very busy .but we were given a table quickly food .omg just Amazing next time I'm in Co Clara I shall be back ..Highly Recommend this place š
19/04/2025: Have been here a few times, and it has never disappointed. The food quality is excellent, and the service is always great. All the staff are lovely and make an effort to chat with the customers. The fillet steak is 10/10, and definitely get the onion rings with it! This place is a must for anyone visiting Clare!

20/03/2025: I was in the cock tavern on Thursday the 20th of March at around 11:20, we were served by the rudest bar tender would not recommend this bar unless you want to be made to feel uncomfortable we asked for the cocktail menu and asked where the cocktail and we have never been made feel so uncomfortable in the way he responded and I have never been treated like this before absolutely appalling !!Iām a bartender myself and would never treat customers the way we were treated absolutely no customer service does this boy have and so disrespectful.
03/11/2024: The staff were overall pretty good, however, when I returned the steak I was basically told I was a liar.
I eat out a lot and normally I don't have to complain, but that attitude is just rude.
The steak was full of sinue, over fatty. Now I understand sometimes steak can be a little tough, but the steak was rough. I paid the bill and left.
Theres plenty of better pubs to eat in, don't bother with the Cock Tavern Swords.
