The best restaurants in Shannon legal town

01/11/2025: We had a great experience at this restaurant inside Shannon Springs Hotel. The food is very good quality and freshly prepared. The staff are polite, friendly, and always willing to help. The bathrooms are kept very clean, which is always a plus. There is free car parking available, and the prices are quite reasonable for what you get. Highly recommended!

27/10/2025: The service and atmosphere is excellent here. We had a family meal here after bringing a family member to the crematorium and I have to say that the staff were beyond helpful and the food was excellent. Would highly recommend The Old Lodge Gastro Pub

10/12/2025: I flew into to Shannon from the UK on a business trip. I ask a local man for recommendations to eat . He told me head to the pantry Inside a shopping mall. I took his recommendation and went to the pantry . The place was spotless and there was music playing to fill the place with a soothing atmosphere. I then approached the cashier to order and was met by a super friendly waitress named Caroline. She was ever so kind and friendly and made the most wonderful coffee I ever had . An absolutely lovely waitress. I sat down with the food brought to me at an efficient pace and eat pancakes with bacon and my god I was transported to another dimension. So overall great place to eat with a wonderful attententive waitress and great food . Thanks Caroline and thanks pantry . Five stars.

09/12/2025: The food was extremely overpriced and for the price of what I'd ordered i expected better quality, although service was quick I can't fault that, it was quite unnerving for one of the staff, I believe her name is Caroline to have stared directly at myself and my partner for the duration of our lunch as I'd actually caught her a few times and it was very off putting.

07/01/2026: Smaller then your standard McD's but the food is the same !

29/12/2025: We rarely use McDonald's now I know why we had luke warm food and over the years I swear the buns have reduced in size for the fillet of fish.

20/11/2025: A very dirty hotel. Stay away from it. The fire alarm went off at 02:45 am in the middle of night no sign of an apology at reception. Just decaffeinated coffee in the room obviously the cleaner can't read to put instant coffee as well. In the bathroom the bath cover for the drainage not working so you can't have a bath in room 126. I must say the manager must not knowing how to run a business. Morning coffee cold just bit of coloring coffee. Very poor management but they take advantage of American tourists flying from Shannon Airport I'm sure they will never come back. A good way sending them back home for good. I can give no value rate zero

10/01/2026: My family and I always go there. The food is excellent and very delicious, the service is excellent, they are very friendly and kind, the atmosphere is wonderful and peaceful, and there are areas for families. I recommend trying it. I hope that halal meat is included in the restaurant. Please

29/11/2025: Freezing Asian restaurant on a cold November night. When I asked the waitress if we could have some heat she said " No, we don't have heat here". Food subpar. They don't provide napkins. Very cluttered and unclean. The sassy waitress was unfamiliar with duck sauce.

27/11/2025: The food here is delicious. I had the vegan noodle soup as a starter, full of veg and a lovely broth. The main was the fire cracker veg with rice. So fresh. Will definitely be ordering that again.

22/09/2025: The shawarma was terrible, I threw it in the trash!

10/08/2025: Ordered a takeaway from this place tonight. The food is pathetic. Ordered 2 chapattis but we got 2 naan instead. The king prawn masala and chicken masala was disgusting. The amount the colour added made the gravy appear reddish pink (pic attached) and it tasted more like a dessert....it was so so so sweet that we could not eat beyond 1 spoon. I would recommend you starve yourself than eat at this place and waste your money.
