13/07/2026: Our flight back to the USA got diverted from Rome to Shannon airport on a late Saturday afternoon. The small airport and surrounding community worked overtime to get 250+ people accommodations until our new flights. I stayed for two nights. The staff at Shannon Springs were phenomenal. The hotel was beautiful, modern, well-maintained, and the food delicious. They made what could have been a stressful situation, quite pleasant.
03/06/2026: Genuine gem in Shannon this place... Lovely room, exceptional breakfast buffet, you couldn't really want much more. It also doubles up as a bar for locals so plenty of nightlife here.

08/08/2026: Great hotel with very central location for anyone visiting Shannon or the wild Atlantic way. Slightly older hotel but nice decor. Rates were competitively priced and rooms were very clean. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Marked 4stars (instead of 5) because room service breakfast order wasn't collected on last morning of stay. Otherwise no issues and happy to return again in the future.
11/06/2026: The hotel has a certain charm, but it's not worth 4 stars: no safe in the room, no refrigerator, no air conditioning, and the shower is mounted on top of the bathtub and doesn't have a hand shower.
The bathroom is small and outdated.
At 200 euros a night, it's not good value for money.
Breakfast was adequate, nothing special, the staff were friendly, and the housekeeping was efficient.

27/09/2026: Listen. Im a good person, I’ve great patience and I’m very understanding. MAYBE. I’ve been having a bad day but to not give me a straw was one thing. But to completely ignore what I asked you NOT to put in my burger is a whole new level. I just wanted cheese and burger sauce for my Big Mac. I know. Sounds crazy but that’s just my style of burger. I mean. I even saw him type it on his computer so HOW does it no go to the people who actually make the damn burger?? WHAT. No communication?? Anyways. Maybe I’ve just had a bad day I don’t know.
