The best restaurants in Shannon legal town

03/08/2025: i’m a regular at the pantry i’m always down here for my coffee and it’s always very good quality with some of the nicest service. they really do look after their customers and it’s such an easy environment to be in!

07/10/2025: It's absolutely fine: decent pub area with lots of TVs for those looking to watch the sports and locals perched at the bar; restaurant with a good range of pretty standard dishes. Food in the restaurant unmemorable, but tasty enough and works well for large groups where most people will find something they're happy to order. Pub works a bit better with decent atmosphere on busier nights - nothing special but fine as a local place.

13/06/2025: We booked a table for 4 people at this restaurant. Our friends were here before and said that it was good. Our orders were taken after a short length of time, we were told that the chicken would take 20 minutes, so we thought that was okay, we were served drinks while we waited for our meal, When our meal came I was very disappointed with the small amount of food that was put before me, even though the food was lovely I was still hungry after I finished, one waitress asked if we would lick to see the desert menu and we said yes, she didn’t come back with it, we weren’t asked if we wanted more drinks or tea, we got tired of waiting and decided to leave, we found that the staff were not attentive and not friendly, it was just a job to them.

06/09/2025: Had the misfortune to visit here 21:37 on 6th September 2025 and the customer service is abysmal. A clear instruction repeated for an order, not difficult or obstreperous, put simply a plain chicken wrap without salad. I can only assume the person fulfilling the order was being utterly sardonic because the amount of salad they placed on the order was nothing short of a hedgerow. I am at a loss to what part of plain simple polite words don’t work here but I advise customers to exercise caution if choosing this branch because the staff either don’t know or don’t care to listen. Waste of time and money.

But let's be honest.Is pre- prepared, greasy garbage what you really want?Don't we get enough of that in Shannon to be fair? What TownCenter needs is a GOOD CHIPY...Something that makes two things well..BURGERS & FRIED FRESH COD WITH CHIPS THAT ARE CRISPY ON THE OUTSIDE AND FLUFFY ON THE INSIDE.Whoever does that will get rich overnight.
