The best restaurants in Carrigaline

04/03/2025: We went for a late lunch at this restaurant, but our experience was very disappointing. When we arrived, a man informed us that the chef had left because there were no customers and would be back in 15 minutes. We decided to wait, but after 25 minutes, there was still no sign of the chef. This is completely unacceptable. Customers should not have to wait indefinitely for a chef to return to work. If the restaurant is open, staff should be present and ready to serve. Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful to customers. We won’t be coming back. __________ Since I can’t reply to your response, I’m editing the post to let you know that I checked your restaurant’s website beforehand to see the opening hours, so yes, it should have been open… and in fact, it was, since I went in. The same website suggests making a reservation, but it doesn’t say it’s mandatory, so yes, walk-ins are also accepted. The guy you left in charge, if he didn’t know when you’d be back, shouldn’t have said 15 minutes. In short: you’re completely wrong, and yet it’s my fault because I’m “negative”? 😂 Give me a break. The one who doesn’t want to eat at a place like this is me.

13/03/2025: I’ve been coming to this café for years and have always enjoyed my usual order—a cappuccino. The consistency and quality have always been excellent, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming, which is one of the reasons I keep coming back. However, I’ve recently noticed a change in taste. After paying closer attention, I realized that the barista now automatically uses low-fat milk instead of full-fat milk, which has noticeably altered the flavor and texture of the cappuccino. When I order a standard cappuccino, I expect it to be made with full-fat milk, as has been the case for years. The richness and creaminess are an essential part of what makes a cappuccino enjoyable, and the switch to low-fat milk takes away from that experience. I’m not sure if this is a new policy or just an individual preference of the current staff, but I would appreciate having the option to enjoy my cappuccino the way it has always been made. A simple clarification at the point of ordering would go a long way in maintaining the quality that loyal customers have come to expect. That said, the staff here are great, and I always appreciate their service!

11/03/2025: Best pizza I have had in ages. The crust was crispy, and the toppings were flavorful and fresh! Would definitely visit more often.
