05/02/2026: Delicious food, beautiful decor (we went just after Christmas), great service, friendly staff. The portion sizes were big. Plenty of parking along the road. We would happily go back for a special occasion.
14/12/2025: My mum and I went here for dinner recently. The place was absolutely gorgeous, decorated beautifully.
The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was great.
We ordered the hake and the fish & chips. We were so impressed. The hake and cauliflower were beautifully cooked ( massive portions too ). The fish and chips were so tasty, one of the best I’d say. The tartare sauce was unreal! Also a massive portions ( 2 big filets of fish ). We then had the apple crumble and the x-mas pudding for dessert, which were so good! I would definitely recommend this place! We’ll be back :)

18/03/2026: I booked for one night for my birthday. Phoned hotel and requested a bath in the room. I was told this is no problem. No bath in the room when I checked in. Also booked a table for my birthday for a meal. No mention of my birthday. Had to ask bar staff for supplies for the room, coffee, toilet paper and hand soap. Breakfast was awesome.
Not sure if it's worth the money.
24/01/2026: What can I say? We stayed there spontaneously for one night without a reservation and received a warm welcome, including a complimentary drink. Two friends on an Ireland road trip were certainly happy about that! 😉👍 The rooms aren't the newest, though, which should be mentioned.

09/02/2026: Nice cafe for a spot of lunch in a lovely part of the country.
30/10/2025: First time trying the golden pheasant after few years of passing and wondering. Sadly was quite underwhelming.
Felt as though it had deteriorated from what it once was, food was okay and the fact they had gluten free sandwiches available was great. Personal preference but we found the decor very tacky.
Important to mention that the customer Toilets were filthy. We were glad we had eaten before seeing them.
Great location, good coffee and pleasant surrounds

23/09/2024: Dit restaurant wordt steeds populairder en drukker en ondanks dat blijft de sfeer goed. Het avondeten en ontbijt waren weer van goede kwaliteit.
