21/03/2024: Went in at 4.50 for a takeaway sandwich and was told "we close at 5" Very disappointed. Left with nothing.
13/02/2024: Lovely little Café/Restaurant. The staff were lovely and the food was very nice. Brought my two young children in there and they loved it.
Was waiting a decent amount of time for the food and the bathrooms weren't in great nick but overall a 3/5.

17/12/2023: Absolutely rubbish, 50 minutes waiting what was ordered was not given, staff didn't have a clue.
08/12/2023: Ordered six garlic cheese chip and one regular chip, burger, chicken (2pieces)and chicken tenders and 4 coke Zero 2 regular coke. Girl repeated order to me and was correct. Received order without the chips. Waited for the chips and then 3 regular chips and 3 garlic chips arrive and two cokes missing. Told the girl and she brought down one coke!! I decided it wasn't worth telling her that she forgot the garlic and cheese on two of the chips and there was still a coke missing as she obviously found it too difficult to supply fast food to 6 people. I had to return the chips as they were really cold(all but two as two hungry teenagers didn't care what they were shoveling into their mouths). I was asked did I want the chips to eat there or take away and at this point I was so angry I told them I didn't want them at all. €80 down ( also got 2 pizzas which were lovely) and must go and make a few toasties now. I can't believe this place has turned me into a Karen!!! Never again

21/02/2024: As a visitor to Mitchellstown I went for a wander and found this pub. Firstly the owner was serving and from the first moment I met him, I felt welcome. Then got served one of the finest pints of Guinness. People started arriving and the pool table came alive. Again the customers to a man were very friendly and welcoming. I had an absolutely excellent evening, even though I was horrendous at pool! Brilliant clean pub with great staff and sound punters. I'm trying to find another reason to visit Mitchellstown, just to drop in again. Loved it.

03/01/2024: Cracking pint, very clean and the young lady behind the bar was very attentive and friendly.
12/09/2023: Adore this Pub! Great atmosphere lovely outside space, really good music gets booked, and its family oriented too! The Murphys is the best around and the Craft Beers are great. Bring your own food for a party, book a gathering its all catered for!

27/11/2023: Recently spent a night in Ballinwillin House - started with a friendly welcome from Elaine.The room and ensuite were spotless, spacious and cosy. Bed was the most comfortable ever. Kitchen was so welcoming.Breakfast was the best, and was lovely chatting with Miriam while she cooked it.Gardens are beautiful for a walk.I couldn't recommend Ballinwillin House enough -
