29/01/2026: Really nice bar, open fire, quaint, great food and reasonably priced. The nicest cup of tea I've had in a long while. Lovely atmosphere, nice music and excellent service. Definitely recommend, whether it be for pints or food

17/03/2026: Had lunch here ,fish and chips so fresh and tasty ,sat out with the heaters on ,cos we had the 2 dogs ,it was a lovely atmosphere girls serving were on the ball ,place was buzzing
16/03/2026: We went by chance and were pleasantly surprised. The food was good quality, very plentiful, and delicious. The service was quick and very helpful. If we return, we'll definitely go back.

06/04/2026: My brother and I went for a quick lunch, seafood chowder on Friday April 3rd. It was mainly cream and not much fish.
As we were visiting our father who is from the area, he came in and paid the bill by card.
The owner/manager asked him did he wish to leave a tip. My father asked if he had a tip jar. The owner/manager said there was a tin at the till and my father came and asked me did I have change.
After we left, he noticed, there was a charge "Gratuity" He asked me was this tax, and I said that it had been a tip added to the bill. I wanted to go in, but my father did not want to make a fuss about it. I thought this was so sneaky, my dad is 82 and if it had have been a younger person would the manager/owner have pulled this one?

03/04/2026: Great experience at Lily House Chinese Restaurant. The food was generous in portion and absolutely delicious. Everything came out surprisingly fast, hot, and full of flavor. The service was friendly and efficient, which made the whole experience even better.
If you’re in the area and looking for a satisfying, good-quality meal at a reasonable price, this is definitely a great option. Would happily come back again!

12/10/2024: Fabulous dining experience, full house on a Saturday night provided for a lovely atmosphere helped by laid back, pleasant, friendly staff who were well trained and super at what they do. Great building with old style large shopfront windows. BYO policy at no extra charge which is pretty unique! Every dish was fresh & delicious, mussels, sea bream, haddock, beef all cooked and presented to perfection. Totally enjoyable evening finished off nicely with a reasonable bill. Definitely recommend.
16/09/2024: Fabulous restaurant in the picturesque setting of Rosscarbery village with large windows to take it in and we had the perfect table inside the window to enjoy it.
We were advised on arrival of the BYO policy with local pubs happily allowing takeaway drinks to the restaurant or shop with off licence a few doors away. Complimentary delicious bread was served immediately which is becoming more of a rarity. The BYO is also complimentary even though they chill your beers and supply wine coolers and glasses at your table.
We started with mussels and portobello mushrooms, our mains included haddock, crayfish & a slow cooked beef pasta dish finishing off with yummy desserts. Each dish and mouthful was cooked to perfection and so flavoursome. Roast veg were served with mains, water bowls not forgotten with mussels, food and service was perfection.
Finally the dreaded part……the bill but this was almost as good as the food!!! This restaurant is extremely well priced, something we don’t see these days…….value for money offering superb quality food and pleasant service in a really nice atmosphere makes for a night out that you’ll want to and can afford to repeat several times.
Highly highly recommend.
