Market House Restaurant in Rosscarbery

Was there for a friend’s 60th. Great experience and the fish was lovely. Also really enjoyed the dessert. Thanks.

Truly enjoyed this dining experience. Around the corner from the hotel, it was an easy walk. The steak and lamb dishes were most excellent.

We loved it, it is a cute place with good food. Do not miss it!

The food was of a very high quality, well worth a trip to Rosscarbery. A real hidden gem.

We had a lovely evening, the Market House felt comfortable and inviting and the food was excellent. One thing to note is it is BYO, but don't let that put you off. We had leek and potato soup and muscles for a starter, the mussels were the star, so sweet and the broth was so good. The main was gnocchi Ragu and salmon(not pictured), both done superbly, and dessert was ice cream and a treacle tart. The tart hit the spot with it's richness. They accommodated our need for a gluten free meal, pointed out what was available and altered the main special to remove any gluten in the dish, it was perfect. Would definitely recommend.
