Come here often and it never ever disappoints. I would highly recommend.
The food is always amazing and affordable.
The staff are excellent and amazing what they do from start to finish. Always made feel welcomed.

24/04/2025: We stayed at Joyce’s Lodge and had a great experience! The rooms were spacious and comfortable. A big plus is that you get access to a nearby 4-star hotel’s swimming pool, spa, and other amenities — which added real value to our stay.
The lodge is located above a pub, so there’s some noise in the evenings, but we were so tired from exploring that it didn’t bother us much.
02/04/2025: Lovely room. Bed was super comfortable. And 5 star staff. I truly recommend

24/10/2024: Arrived late into Carndonagh & there weren’t too many options so I walked down to Zafraan. Really friendly guy taking the orders. Ordered Jalapeño Popper burger meal - two patties, lots of hot sauce & and huge bag of crispy chips, all for under a tenner. Ate the whole burger, which was gorgeous, but could only manage half the chips unfortunately. Would definitely recommend Zafraan 👍🏻

30/12/2024: My grandchildren love coming here for their hot chocolate 💝 and all the trimmings. great presentation. I always have a nice decaff coffee too as I am a diabetic I stay away from the extra sugars. Would highly recommend . Always meet some 😍 lovely people here too

03/05/2025: The food I ordered was inedible. I ordered a chip box with chicken. The lettuce was old and wilted, slathered in mayonnaise, the chicken was overcooked and bland and the chips were covered in sweet chilli sauce. I noticed a lot of grey and blighty chips amoungest them. They used to do a great kebab and hogie but have gone very downhill in the last year. My aunt ordered a curry which was a lot better than my order so maybe avoid anything that is not curry based!
24/04/2025: We had a fantastic experience at Taste of India! The food was exceptionally good, and we requested them to make it spicy, which they did perfectly – just the right level of heat. The quantity of the dishes was generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion size. We were really impressed with the flavors and overall experience. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone craving authentic Indian food. Definitely will be returning!

22/06/2024: Just had a lovely salad today. Usually have a wrap or similar.
Food is always fresh and prepared to a high standard.
I personally do not like the way the cutlery comes tightly wrapped in a napkin which has been sealed with a drop of water.
Staff are always cheerful and engaging.
I now accidentally, on purpose, forget to eat before going grocery shopping so I have to drop in for a bite 😀
21-June-'24: Got takeaway. Food still really good. However, ordered 1 x Chicken Chorizo and 2 x Chili Chicken wrap.
Got home 15-min later to find I had been given 2 x Chicken Chorizo. Unfortunately, someone went without lunch as they totally dislike Chorizo 👎

15/12/2024: Tried to order a takeaway to Malin Head and got told that it was too windy to make a delivery. I have never heard such an outright stupid excuse to avoid making service.Will not be ordering from here again because of this. Which is a shame, because the food is actually fantastic.
