20/07/2025: Breakfast was not worth the money for a local café.my bacon was burned. It is so dirty.our table was sticky the toilet door,where most touch was almost brown colour from all the finger tips. The ladies behind the counter are polite and atmosphere is really relaxing ..but sorry going for breakfast as poitin instead for the same money/quality.
20/07/2025: An absolute find when it comes for a decent breakfast. Lovely staff and fast service. Definitely going back there again.

20/10/2025: It’s best the Indian food in Dublin. I order food from there a lot and Ajay (owner) always took care of us well. Their daal makhni and saag paneer is to die for.
12/10/2025: Ordered lamb biryani. The food was very delicious but the package didn't include fork or spoon but that's not something to mind. I hope next time they will send with it.
Will recommend it. Give it a try.

16/07/2025: I have been orderering here for a while and their food seems ok but I don’t know what happened today I clearly ordered a meat kebab with chips and Taco source I specifically mentioned the taco multiple times but the taco was missing and I had to call to let them know the staff said he didn’t hear they said I should keep the food I have and they would bring another one with the taco after waiting again for up to 30mins my drink getting warm and was really hungry to my surprise the taco was missing again when I specified ordered it seperate to eat with my chips and they said I misunderstood them that they thought I said they should mix the taco source with the kebab and that the driver can’t come back because he has a lot of other orders to make I had to eat the chips raw and it ruined the whole meal for me really disappointing indeed.

05/10/2025: Just had breakfast at Avoca Rathcoole (egg cafe)... poorest service anytime in our life... ordered 2 x breakfast...they forgot my girlfriends order...had to get out of my seat four times to ask for water, coffee and generally trying to find out what was going on with our order, staff too busy not actually doing much rashers were hard, obviously cooked a long time before and left sitting under heat lamps
My girlfriend left as I brought things up with supervisor and to cap it all I was told that I was being rude to staff and upon leaving was sarcastically told to have a nice day...needless to say we will never be going back...
04/10/2025: Changed menu is expensive and now way over priced. While nice, the cost for what you get is a total rip-off. Their previous menu was much better. Now, like for like, €3 for maple syrup, €3 for berry compote, €3 for marscapone, €3 for macadamia brittle on top of an €8 pancake 'stack' = €20 for pancakes?? FYI - 2 pancakes is not a stack.
Used to enjoy it, but they're now taking the piss. Will not return. (I feel for the staff who are lovely, and have to answer questions on a confusing menu with completely overpriced food.)

07/11/2025: Food is tasty. Specially if you make some notes for chef, they get it done. They could throw in some prawn crackers specially if the order is big. Overall a decent place for food.
01/11/2025: Worst experience ever. Never happened to me before.
I’ve ordered from them before, they always took awhile to deliver the order, like 1h+ but I never complained because the food was alright.
This time I placed my order at 19:45 and by 21:00 I still hadn’t received anything. I called the restaurant and was told the food was “on the way.”, just like the previous times. After waiting another 20 minutes, I called again, this time they said the order had already been delivered.
Turns out they delivered my food to someone else and didn’t even bother to confirm who was receiving it. Completely unprofessional and careless. I won’t be ordering from here again.

21/07/2025: I’ve given Mandarin House multiple chances, but unfortunately, it’s been a consistently disappointing experience. I’ve had my order messed up on at least three separate occasions, and each time I’ve tried to raise the issue, I’ve been met with poor customer service. There’s never any accountability—just the same response that “there’s nothing they can do about it.” Not even a simple apology.
To be fair, the food itself is actually quite good. But for me, the quality just doesn’t make up for the hassle of dealing with repeated mistakes and unhelpful service. Sadly, I won’t be ordering from them again.

08/10/2024: Business is closed now. Which is unfortunate as I had a voucher for afternoon tea but it’s fine. irrelevant if google states if open or closed ur still selling voucher for a business that is closed and therefore unredeemable, it is the owners responsibility to inform living social and/or any other company that may be selling vouchers on behalf of the business that you are no longer active. Do you google every place of business you go to check if it is open or closed? Doubtful… a 1 star review is justified as to sell and voucher for something that is unredeemable is bad service. As I cannot comment on the food or atmosphere I will retract these stars, however my time spent going out to your business only to find it closed my time spend trying to get a refund(thus far unsuccessfully) is wasted and thus qualifies as poor service. I apologise if u find this review in poor taste.
30/07/2024: Great place, lovely atmosphere! The coffee and the banana bread were delicious! They also have delicious homemade sourdough breads. The service was good, too. My favourite part is the beautiful cups they serve tea and coffee in!
