01/08/2026: Had this Indian takeaway a few times now and I have to say that it's lovely. Had the mixed kebab in the naan bread and tried their different chicken dishes witch did not dissapoint. Regarding the kebab I have to say that its massive and hard to finish but really good portion for the price. Can't recommend it enough 👍

28/07/2026: We had a fantastic experience at Pure Indian Takeaway. Every dish was full of flavour, especially the paneer lababdar, dal makhani and the starters. The quality is top‑notch and the prices are very reasonable.

29/09/2026: Lovely coffee shop with amazing staff. Great coffe and the food is also delicious, plus the açai bowls are to die for. Lovely place to grab a quick breakfast or a coffee on the way. Great selection of treats or dessert to go with the coffee or tea👍

03/09/2026: Staff young undertrained and pretentious. They have a look down the nose attitude to anybody over 50. Menu restricted.

03/10/2026: I’ve held off writing this review because we have always enjoyed the food, but unfortunately the service has been consistently disappointing. We are a party of 4–5 (2–3 adults and 2 children) and have visited at the same time almost every Saturday for the past six weeks, usually ordering the same meals. About four weeks ago, we were turned away despite there being only around four tables occupied. When we asked why, we were told they had dealt with a large booking beforehand and needed a “break”. We were surprised by this but gave them the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, today we were turned away again, with no apology and no manager on site to speak to. If the café cannot accommodate walk-ins, this should be made clear and customers should be advised that reservations are required, particularly when there appear to be tables available. As regular customers who have spent a considerable amount here over the past number of weeks, and with a service charge added to each bill, it is very disappointing to feel that repeat custom isn’t valued. We have always enjoyed the food, which is why we continued to return, but the service has been inconsistent and unwelcoming. Overall, very poor customer service and, in my opinion, a poor reflection on the management of the café, particularly when there was no manager on site to address the issue. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

03/09/2026: The women who answered the phone was rude, when I called to order food. She answered the phone and just said to me wait didnt even say hello. Left me waiting ages and didn't come back to the phone. So I went to Indian takeaway up to road, lovely curry in the Indian takeaway .

18/08/2026: Just ordered some chips smoked cod and batter sausage , served by two lovely ladies very polite and the food was fantastic thank you ladies for the lovely food and smiles it was well worth it
