26/07/2026: Dishes we ordered and shared between two of us were- appetiser mussels which were Perfectly steamed and a generous size. Seafood chowder was the standout. Lots of seafood and a flavourful, rich broth. Cod&Chips - the cod was a bit bland but perfectly cooked. The batter was excellent. Service was a bit slow however the atmosphere on a late weekday afternoon was fantastic. Ask for a table by the window but do know if it’s sunny and hot out, you will be hot seated there. Was our second time and we will be back.

14/02/2026: A lovely pub that's next to the Little Richards restaurant in Skerries and I was in this pub for the first time with my work colleagues/ friends and one thing I'd like to suggest to the management of the pub is getting TK red lemonade 1.25 Litres bottles in the pub as they have TK white lemonade for people who have it in their drinks as mixers and it would be great if the management gets the Red Lemomade in when they get stock from the wholesalers

06/07/2026: Overall the pastries and cakes were extremely nice - albeit, a little pricey. They get a solid 4 out 5 - nothing special for how expensive they are but definitely worth a nice treat. The server brought the wrong pastry which is very poor service, so with that in mind I’ll give Goat In The Boat a modest 3/5

24/07/2026: Lovely Cafe in Skerries overlooking the South Beach and promenade in Skerries. Its located upstairs in Jerrys supermarket with gorgeous beach views and lovely food.l and friendly staff. Photo shows the turkey and ham stuffing sourdough sandwich and chips/ samad. Good prices too

10/07/2026: Disappointing.. overpriced mediocre food. I ordered goats cheese Bruschetta.. what was served was a slice of goats cheese a slice of cambridge bread a spoonful of carmalised onion from a jar.. no garnish €14, unedible reheated potatoe bravas €9.50, i left starving.

The atmosphere was warm, clean, and perfect for a relaxed meal with friends.I look forward to visiting again.

24/07/2026: We visited on a Sunday evening and the restaurant was fairly busy but not full. The starters are quite large, luckily we ordered a pizza between two of us and we still ended up taking some home. The food was delicious and I would definitely recommend a visit here but you would probably need to book in advance. The staff were very pleasant and service was good.

13/07/2026: Lovely spot in Skerries. We had calamari and chicken tenders for a starter and 3 different pizzas as main. Everything served in a proper order, waiting time was like couple of minutes for the starters, and we got our pizzas shortly after. Staff is on the ball all the time, atmosphere great and food was fantastic. We will definitely come back to try the rest of the menu.
