Bought sourdough bread to go and it really was one of the best I've had. Good coffee too.
18/01/2025: Both the savory and sweet pastries were absolutely gorgeous. The coffee was also delicious. Service was friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was lovely but not too loud. We sampled pretty much everything and the only thing that let this place down was the cinnamon roll which was cold and very dense. We left most of it. Definitely try this place - we drove 45 minutes to get there and don't regret it - just don't get the cinnamon roll.

19/12/2024: I ordered the seafood pasta dish for 30euro. This is served in a small dish hence the portion size was very small. The shells are included so once the minute contents are found you are left with half the volume of the serving. The food itself was very tasty however i won't be ordering this very expensive dish again.

31/12/2024: They've gone completely insane eith the price rises here. It's great good and service and the staff are very friendly but the owner needs a really check, the greed of these people has no limits. Unbelievable.

13/02/2025: Excellent food and service at lunch. Opted for a starter of mussels with two mains of the fish pie which was superb and really good tempura prawns. Two glasses of wine and a bottle of fizzy water came to €76 plus tip. Very happy to recommend. Sitting in the conservatory area can be a bit drafty as staff keep using the external door (which has a sign saying do not use). This is a small issue for an excellent experience
06/02/2025: Always really enjoy our seafood in Stoop your Head. Friendly staff. Well worth coming over from Dublin City and starting with a walk around the park or harbour or even a dip in the sea

09/01/2025: Was hectic when we visited. Many items off the menu. Really put us under pressure to leave after an hour, not nice. VERY EXPENSIVE. 8.50 for a glass of wine, way too much 25 euro for a burger and chips.
24/12/2024: Incredible food and service. Matthew and Pawel run an amazing family restaurant that we have happily visited for the last 3 years and will continue to visit for a long time to come. 5 Stars over and over 👌

15/12/2024: Lovely place to drink in at any time of year. But it would be better if parents kept their kids under better control or left them home altogether.
No worries guys and I appreciate your response. Despite what I said I guess it's not easy for parents who fancy a drink and either want their kids to enjoy Christmas with them here or don't want to pay exorbitant child care costs.

27/01/2025: Possibly the best pizza I've had in Ireland and one of the best pints of Guinness I've had. Great staff and service.
However, the last 3 times we visited the restaurant was like a playground. There were bunches of kids running around the restaurant playing chasing amongst the customers and staff carrying meals to tables. I don't want to experience this when I eat out.
