24/08/2026: An old windmill with a guided tour. Then you can relax in the cafe or visit gift shop. All the pitches are currently being redeveloped. Great place to visit.

24/08/2026: Great tour today from Alex, saw so many interesting parts of the mill history. We enjoyed discussing local history with Alex, and had a delicious lunch in the cafe afterwards!

25/08/2026: Really enjoyed a lunch with family at this family run pub restaurant in Skerries. Comfortable seats and benches with some seating on barstools there is a nice atmosphere in the restaurant where the staff are very friendly. Had 2 baked salmons with mash which were nicely cooked with buttery mash. I had Tiger prawns in tempura batter with chips and these were perfectly cooked, served with a chillie dip and delicious. Well worth a visit and book on weekends.

18/08/2026: The food is outstanding, I often come here for specials. Staff are accommodating, on a couple of occasions I didn't have a reservation, my party was seated even though the place was very busy. Parking is often the issue, so allow ample time to find somewhere and walk to the pub.

30/08/2026: A lovely spot on the Skerries coast. Toast and soup of the day for a lunchtime snack. Good.

30/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I stopped by Goat in the Boat twice during my stay in Skerries for a cappuccino and some carrot cake. The carrot cake was so delicious the first time that when I came back, I ended up ordering exactly the same thing again! It’s a lovely, relaxing little spot in a beautiful location right on Skerries Harbour. Sitting outside with a coffee and watching the world go by was such a nice way to spend some time. The staff were really friendly and welcoming on both visits, the coffee was great, and that carrot cake is definitely worth coming back for! A lovely place and one I’d happily visit again. 😊

14/06/2026: Place is really good craic. Needs to put hand-wash in the toilet though. Every time I go in no soap

14/02/2026: A lovely pub that's next to the Little Richards restaurant in Skerries and I was in this pub for the first time with my work colleagues/ friends and one thing I'd like to suggest to the management of the pub is getting TK red lemonade 1.25 Litres bottles in the pub as they have TK white lemonade for people who have it in their drinks as mixers and it would be great if the management gets the Red Lemomade in when they get stock from the wholesalers

02/09/2026: Cosy little coffeeshop in Skerries with charming interior and lovely staff. The menu offers varieties of açai bowls and porridges as well as toasties and pastries. It's all held together by truly good coffee and a relaxing vibe that makes it feel like somebody's living room and the village hangout. Don't miss this one when in Skerries!

17/03/2026: Fantastic family run cafe in Skerries. Gorgeous home made soup and wonderful service. Lovely decor. Great vibe. I will be back.

10/09/2026: Wonderful for eat-in and pick-up, mediocre for delivery. Not sure why there's a difference, but though it was delivered hot via delivey, everything save for the spring rolls was incredibly bland and widely lacked sauce. Quite a shock considering when we ate in-store couple weeks ago, the food was great. So yeah, wouldn't recommend for delivery, but definitely recommend for eating in or take out if picking up yourself.

28/08/2026: Incredibly unacceptable portions of chicken on several occasions. Usually wait an hour for delivery which I can accept but I can't accept €35 for 2 plates of rice and sauce with a mouth full of chicken in each dish. Won't be ordering from here again.

21/08/2026: Just ordered food from your takeaway, and to say I’m disappointed is an understatement! I ordered the loaded naan. And to my astonishment it looked an absolute mess…Looked as if whoever prepared it had rushed it. Naan was soaggy and the filling was literally falling out. Will never order from here again. And to make matters worse, I’d ordered on two separate occasions previously and the food was delayed! Never again!
