The best restaurants in An spidéal

17/04/2025: Builin blasta is a gem on route to what one could called the gateway to Connemara, the food is great, lovely selection re retail and local goods and on a sunny day there isn’t a nicer spot. My only qualm is the music selection, a lot of establishments put a great deal of thought into food, decor and service and then don’t think about the type of music they are choosing to play in their establishment. I could be wrong but I get the sense that Builin hasn’t given it much thought . Today I had my lunch in Builin, lovely lunch, the place was packed and the music, some kind of odd selection of fast paced thumping teenage rock, lots of drums. honestly it made me want to leave as soon as I could it was the opposite to relaxing, it just adds another layer of noise It’s just the wrong kind of tunes for this cafe, and don’t get me wrong I love music, I’m a musician.. so please Builin, re think your playlist and I gurantee you everyone will be at lot happier, mile buiochas
