30/07/2025: The place is typical and friendly. The service is efficient.
The crab claw specialty isn't extraordinary; it's served without a side dish, and it's not cheap.
It's worth exploring, though; I'm sure there are other delicious specialties to try.
30/07/2025: Difficult to park because there are a lot of people and only 1 street to park, but the welcome is warm and the food is good for a reasonable price 👍

14/07/2025: A wonderful week in Roundstone.Coming west for 18 years and wanted to celebrate my 60th with family and friends. O Dowds facilitated all twenty two of us. Food delicious , staff amazing . Would highly recommend. Big thanks to Nicholas , Mairead, Riona, Maya and team , 5 stars all around.

14/07/2025: Nice spot for food and drink in lovely Roundstone. Busy and popular with tourists. Enjoyed nice chowder and fresh fish dishes.

23/08/2024: Such a lovely and cozy restaurant. We appreciated that the staff let us linger and savor many different items. The dining room is old-fashioned and comfortable. The food was wonderful, and my daughter was delighted with the dessert plate that featured 6 kinds of different miniature desserts. We also stayed at the inn here and had a comfortable, clean room. The breakfast the next morning was plentiful and very high quality. Would have liked to explore the whole area more as it is beautiful and close to so many interesting things.

Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. Service excellent. Beautiful menu.
Crab claws and duck salad delicious. Rack of lamb so fresh and tasty, scallops so fresh as was the Turbot in orange butter. Well worth the trip and will be back again. You can see there's so much effort put into the food but it's not overdone with flavours. The fresh produce is allowed to shine through with careful consideration. Staff excellent!
