13/09/2024: Ideal for those on the Motorway. Located at the junction of the motorway and N83, formerly N17. Great for lunch or a quick snack. Free parking throughout the N17 Business Park. Very easy to find as it is clearly visible from the Motorway.

17/08/2024: Had always received awful service from the woman running front of house, but decided to go there last Friday after being invited by friends. The same woman did not disappoint. You are absolutely rushed to order from the moment you sit down, you're barely given time have a chat or look at the menu. When our food did come out, all we could taste was GARLIC. It was drowning in garlic!! I called the front of house woman over to say this, and she rudely stated of course it is, it's garlic mash. I said I'd had the surf and turf a few times before, which was normally lovely, but this was truly horrendous and inedible. So instead of trying to assist me as a paying customer, she gets me a menu and shoves it in my face to show me that it says garlic mash in the description. I could not believe this woman. How she runs a restaurant or how this place is still in business, I'll never know. We are local and will never step foot in there again. We also run an Airbnb nearby and often have international guests staying. We will make sure they don't step foot in there either.

18/04/2024: I often dine out in roots bistro tuam.i really love their food especially there Sunday specials and their breakfasts .the staff are really helpful and friendly Katie always greets you with a lovely welcome and she is so kind to elderly people who dine there.Denise the manager is equally as nice and helpful. The younger staff Kelly saoirse aishling and Cameron are really nice and helpful .so kudos to roots in tuam its my go to place for great food and ambience .and Pauline is also lovely and helpful.

11/04/2024: Excellent service. Amazing, friendly and attentive staff who are very accommodating. Food is always done well and taste very good. Couldn't recommend Roots in tuam enough.
