09/05/2025: Recently visited in May 2025 and discovered the new gluten free menu! The fish and chips were so good. Thank you so much for going to the effort of catering for those of us who have coeliac disease or gluten allergies/intolerances. It makes going out so much more enjoyable and takes the stress out of choosing food from a regular menu. Gluten-free and non-gluten-free people all enjoyed their meals. Will definitely be back!

05/05/2025: For our sons communion, we booked Gather Restaurant for catering, we had Lasagne, chicken and la king and lamb stew and potato gratin Salads and cold meat salads. & most delicious dessert. Apple crumble & Lemon Meringue
Absolutely everyone commented on the quality of the food and there was no waste, Absolutely nothing. Everyone had 2nds and some even had 3rds! And the next day everything was eaten!
I would highly highly recommend Siobhan and her wonderful team for catering.
Siobhan even made a special meal for our son for his special day. His favourite fish and chips!
26/04/2025: Lovely place for a treat, the brunch is always super in here. It is a teensy bit expensive maybe, especially the tea/coffees, but the food is so fresh and lovely and the staff are very nice. Thank you!

15/06/2025: The food was nice BUT a very caiotic place waitresses are nice and helpful BUT the chef /s should not be allowed out front and be kept in the back do not need to hear the shouts and roars while trying to enjoy a meal . I was glad to leave
13/06/2025: The chicken curry sauce was terrible it should be in a pasta dish. The floor was dirty in the restaurant I would say it was not swept all day. The ladies toilet needs a deep clean also. Very very disappointed

The owner is very friendly, and it’s a pleasure to chat with her. A word of advice: don’t leave this restaurant without trying the profiterole—it’s absolutely amazing!

05/05/2025: Got two 3in1s, asked for satay sauce instead of curry on both.
When going to collect the order, the girl was rude a few times.
Neither of the 3in1s had satay sauce, the rice was crunchy and dry, some of the chips were raw, the chicken balls were like rocks, over cooked and way too salty. The curry sauce tastes watered down. This is the second time we got food here, first time we thought they were just having a bad night but this time it was worse.
Was home by the time we realised.

23/06/2025: This is a great little gem to have in Tuam town , Water comes in a can not an bottle ,first time I saw that in a cafe , yes I know you can get it in the tap but I prefer to pay for it as its an nicer taste ..
Great selection of options of gluten dairy , wheat free, etc. Great service even though I arrived at lunchtime ..

06/04/2025: I came in today with my nephews and niece just for a quick icecream , when I got in there it was 30 minutes to closing I asked if it was OK they said yes. I got in the door they didn't even let me sit down before grilling me about my order I felt rushed and it was so rude. I sat down ordered and when the ice creams came I was extremely pissed off I hot 3 icecreams and 3 soft drinks and an apple juice , the drinks were lovely but I paid 19.90 for bad ice creams extremely disappointed and appalled at the food I received and some of the service you need to work on
30/01/2025: I love the bistro! The food is delicious. Best pizza in Tuam, gourmet sandwiches, and one of the best Irish breakfasts I ever had. The service is unique, the people are so nice and friendly and the restaurant is so cosy and warmly furnished. Can't wait to be back again for an awesome meal.
