28/08/2026: 1 star Unfortunately, my experience here was very poor. The food was genuinely disappointing — poor quality, badly prepared and not something I would order again. The service wasn’t much better. What concerned me most, however, was what I personally witnessed regarding hygiene. I saw staff handling phones and money and then continuing with food preparation without washing their hands. I also didn’t see gloves being used when handling food. On one occasion, I witnessed an older member of staff, wearing a Mr. Kebab T-shirt, picking at his toes while out the back. When I challenged him about it, he told me he was on his break. Regardless of whether someone is on a break, basic hygiene standards should be maintained in an area where food is being prepared. I’ve also noticed the back door being left open, with the alleyway immediately behind the premises looking far from clean. From outside, you can see into the back area, and frankly, it doesn’t give a good impression of cleanliness or food safety. I also found it uncomfortable when staff were speaking to each other in their own language in front of customers. I appreciate that staff can speak whatever language they like, but when you’re serving customers, I think it’s important to communicate professionally and make customers feel comfortable. Overall, the combination of poor food, disappointing service and the hygiene issues I personally witnessed means I won’t be returning. I’d strongly encourage management to take a serious look at their food preparation practices, staff hygiene and the cleanliness of the premises.
