14/11/2025: It took 1Hr 40 mins to deliver our takeaway, we had to ring the restaurant and they said the driver took the wrong food and he was on the way, however it still took an additional 40 minutes to deliver. The food was below average as well.

14/10/2025: Currys lacking in flavour and very watery. Chicken pakora cold and stale, couldn't eat it. Bhaji equally old and seemed it had been refried multiple times. Pilau rice for 2 in set dinner was only portion for one

13/12/2025: They charge 10% service charge but don't mention it anywhere on menu card. Their payment machine give option of 12%, 20%, 25%, none. After tipping 12% coz overall experience was underwhelming, when I asked for bill, then got to know about built-in service charge of 10%. Had I known about service charge, which is basically tip by default, I would have chosen no additional tip. It's not about just money. It's about feeling deceived. 500ml still water bottle for €4.5 is too much. By the way, highly overpriced (€22 main course dishes with for average taste, quantity), passable service, Below average setup and atmosphere. Won't recommend.

02/12/2025: Placed an order online at 7pm.Got a message to say at 7.50pm there was an issue to call the restuarant.Did so and was told driver should be with us in 15mins. 30mins pass and called the restaurant and was told by the girl that she had checked and the order is sitting there ready for collection. 8.30 phoned again and told food would be with us in 10 minutes. I called the restaurant at 9pm and was told they had not spoken to us previously.She then hung up the phone twice.I called back and asked to speak to a manager as we had placed and order for €144 and wanted a refund at that stage. I was told by the manager that they did not have our order that it was a technical issue. I asked for an email with a receipt proving they had refunded the order after 5 phone calls and 2 hours later on a Saturday night there was alot of hungry and dissapointed people. He then emailed the receipt with the order and the refund so clearly there was no techincal issue. So not really sure why we were being lied to all night. Really bad customer service. I have ordered here alot and sometimes the food was slow but never this kind of issue. I was told there would be a follow up apology email and none was recieved. Please do not take orders and money off people and then lie repeatedly on the phone. Would not be going back to Koyla again based on this experience.

26/10/2025: I stopped there by chance because I was very hungry and the place was nearby, so I ordered one of their dishes. Hunger is the best spice, so the food tasted quite good, but I wouldn't say it was traditional Indian food, as I've had a few authentic Indian dishes. However, the price was undoubtedly rather high for the amount of food. In short, if you want something different and price isn't a factor, you can eat something once in a while.

31/08/2025: Ordered for delivery and everything was incredibly sweet. It tasted like they dumped a ton of sugar into every dish, even after trying to “fix” the dishes with lemon juice and more spices it was better but still way sweeter compared to any Indian dishes I’ve had before.
