28/09/2024: An hour before closing and the kitchen is closed. only doing tea and coffees for the last hour.
17/07/2024: Excellent food, great menu and service. We are visitors here and we were happy to have an excellent lunch here while we are driving around and exploring. The wait staff are welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend The Town Diner in Ballyjamesduff! Thank you!

28/09/2024: Coach driver for an Irish tour company When I’m in different town I pick a restaurant have a meal for myself and then I can recommend for my passengers mainly American.Had fish top class from service to presentation.Would highly recommend to anyone.Its quality all the way
28/09/2024: We took a day trip from our base in Galway to visit Clifden and chose Mitchell's for a sumptuous late lunch. We will not be eating dinner tonight. We start with fresh oysters that tasted of the ocean from which they had recently been removed. Cold and "crisp" around the edges, served with a mignonette that complimented them nicely. Then we had the fish pie and a kettle of steamed mussels. Both were well-prepared and seasoned. Heavenly! We couldn't resist dessert, which was the Belgian Chocolate Nut Pudding, served with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. Think brownie, but lighter. We couldn't have chosen a better place to indulge ourselves.

03/07/2024: The owner PHILIP RIELLY is very ignorant man. Me and my family has been going to the lisgrey this 30odd years
The way we were and have been treated this number of months by himself is just disgusting.
how he is still in business is Beyond us all.
This man is well known for ignoring and been very ignorant to other people that has also supported his business for many years now.
Me and my family will never step foot the the lisgrey house again.
22/05/2024: Loads of parking, spotlessly clean, really good service and food cooked to order. Generous portions and nicely presented Ate here in two occasions and food exceeded my expectations. Great people work here

24/10/2024: A shell of its old self unfortunately. The food was really poor. Very small portion of curry and not cheap. The roast beef was microwaved it was pretty easy to tell. It’s a pity because the town was looking forward to its reopening. Maybe they can turn it around.

15/09/2024: The staff were very helpful getting us a nice located table.The food was very nice. The staff came to us a number of times to see was everything o.k. Overall very friendly and attentive staff. Thank you.

24/03/2024: My friend and I enjoyed one of the best stakes we've had in a very long time. The pepper sauce was spot on and the stake was perfectly cooked and tender. Highly recommended.
