21/10/2024: Lovely pub warm atmosphere inviting even. Menu was great for kids as was main for adults. Food was stunning we all loved it and the staff were amazing so friendly only wish we had gone there again 100% recommend 😀 we were staying at center parcs

It was excellent value, generous portions & freshly cooked for collection. Delighted with the service & highly recommend.
03/06/2024: We cycled the royal canal from Clondara(Clondra as per the locals) to Keenagh and found Macks shack. The staff were very friendly, the food was really nice , the place was very clean and it was very reasonably priced. Would definitely visit again.

26/09/2024: I hate leaving a bad review because the staff were very nice....But it was a poor standard. Bathroom smells of mold..the shower curtain was ready to walk away..building works going on until after 9pm in a room 3 doors down. Started at 8am the following morning. Food in the bar very nice but couldn't recommend staying here overnight...

24/07/2024: I went to torc with my children for my birthday.me and 2 out of 3 of my children got their food we waited a good 20 minutes for them to bring her food out but they never did and when they finally brought it out it was the wrong thing and they went back into the kitchen we waited another 10 minutes and it never came so we got it to go we left and when we got into the car it was the wrong food again😒. And the chocolate bars are €16 which is outrages

29/09/2024: Wow what a breath of fresh air to stay somewhere so clean and beautiful. The rooms were better than most hotels and the breakfast was superb . The host was also extremely nice . We just had a lovely stay and would be delighted to return . 100% recommend .

We travelled from Clare for a 2 day fishing competition and she treated us like we were her own

14/09/2024: Good coffee but price has crept up too high, tables need to be cleaned more than once per day. Toasted sandwiches are slop.
21/06/2024: Jedzenie w miarę ok. Ale jedzenie przy brudnych stołach już nie było przyjemne. Za lada stało 5 pań i żadnej się nie spieszyło żeby posprzątać . Wstyd!!!

10/08/2024: Poor food, no table service, you have to order at the counter, expensive and a mandatory tip included in the payment, not worth a second visit, disappointing because it used to be very good
08/07/2024: Absolute rip off rude staff. Forced to give a tip for a crap take away coffee. Avoid at all costs. I'm never visiting again.

27/03/2024: Did not stay in the hotel but we visited the restaurant and it was great!! Great selection of local dishes that are tasty and filling. The service was great and the dining room was very comfortable. I would definitely dine there again! You won't regret it!
