Fethard
12/10/2025: Fun experience talking to the owner Jasper. He was full of stories and had no problem sitting down and telling us about being a 5th generation bar owner/undertaker. He also listened and gave us further suggestions for where to go after we left. Food was good too. Would definitely go back!
30/09/2025: A group of 10 of us were visiting the area for a cycle event and had heard about McCarthys, we were not disappointed! Exactly what we needed for some post-race nourishment!! It's quirky, full of charm and felt like a genuine old school irish pub/restaurant. We mostly went for the burgers and they definitely didn't disappoint, the rest of the group tell me that the Guinness was exceptional!
