The Pier Cafe

18/08/2026: Came here last night of a break with my two teens as a treat. Food and place amazing but most of all staff were nicest ice ever experienced. Fitted us in although very busy and treated us like VIPs.
26/06/2026: We were there last night my son and myself food was fabulous, staff so friendly we will be back kudos to the chef on such a hot evening.

12/09/2026: My daughter had her 18th Birthday party here last night and she had an incredible night.
From the pre party set up with the assistance of staff, the guidance we received throughout the event from Maurice, the setting has no equal and the atmosphere was so warm and inviting. Would highly recommend this establishment for any celebration. Special thanks to JP and Maurice who were so accomodating and good natured. Thank you folks,

07/08/2026: Staff that we interacted with were nice and pleasant.Cater for allegens and intolerances.Food was nice but pricey at the time of day we went...Lunch.Catch of the day..small darnet of Salmon,3 small baby potatoes...and I mean small and a spoonful of veg...28.95 euro.Would not return.

09/09/2026: Fantastic food! Dogs allowed, even big ones. Some people might be put off by the decor (not me). Don’t judge a pub by its appearance. The food is filling, flavourful and had us talking about it for days after. Especially the garlic potato skins.
06/09/2026: Love this place. Food excellent, ate here twice on a recent visit to Tramore. Staff were very friendly and attentive and the locals were a friendly bunch also. Great music session on Wednesday night. Will visit again on next trip to Tramore.

21/09/2026: Have eaten here for years however quality of food changed about 2 months ago. Particularly bad is the chicken. Was breast now rubbery precooked chicken. Won't be going back.
18/09/2026: Thursday night 8 o clock got a chicken curry very basic dish ..but when I get home sit down to eat it..the chicken is completely gone off disgusting 🤢

25/08/2025: Good choice of food. My son was able to have gluten free fish and chips and this is the reason we chose to eat here. The restaurant was very busy when we ate here. We had booked a table. We were a little late being seated, at no fault to the staff,just that the previous diners were enjoying the last of their meal. Staff were so apologetic about this and offered us a drink on the house. This was a very nice gesture and we appreciated it. A great little dining spot in Tramore with gluten free options and very pleasant staff.
20/08/2025: Absolutely lovey. Food perfect. Great service. Lovely surroundings. Caters for Gluten free and lactose intolerant. Nothing too much trouble. Would drive the hour and a half from home just to eat here. (was o a family day trip with visitors, never been to Tramore before although lived in County Wexford for 17 years!).

04/08/2024: Auf unserem Irland-Trip das erste richtige Restaurant im Hotel. Das Essen ist mitteleuropäisch und gut gelungen. Ein Panna cotta nicht zu süss, nicht zu stark aromatisiert und mit guter Konsistenz. Auch die Fleischspeisen sind gut zubereitet.
